"Are you sure you want to wear that,
Y/NN?" Natasha asked with a challenging grin and looked me up and down.
"Yep," I replied, cheekily dragging out my answer.
"You know that this is one of Tony's parties?" she asked, looking at me with raised eyebrows.
I just snorted and laughed in response.
"Okeeeey, Buck definitely won't like that," she continued seriously. "Who cares what Barnes likes, Nat?" I answered angrily.

The memory stopped and I looked around. It was already dark again and completely silent around me.
I had been lying here all day and the only thing I could see was this brief flash of memory.
A queasy feeling came over me as it slowly dawned on me that I already knew these people here and at the same time couldn't remember them.

What the hell happened?

Snorting, I got up from the bed and dragged myself into the bathroom, still racking my brain over this little memory.
Natasha and I must have been something like friends.
I washed my face with ice-cold water and looked at my face in the mirror for a moment.
I have to remember again, otherwise I'll go completely nuts.

The thought that all these people here seem to know me, while I didn't even know their names before I looked them up, drove me crazy. I felt exposed because they seemed to know things about me, while I knew nothing about them except the things in their files.

Overwhelmed by all the information, I went to the wardrobe and reached for a black hoodie and black jeans when my eyes fell on one of the dresses.
It was the dress from my memory.
Absentmindedly, I grabbed it and took it off the clothes rail to take a closer look.
I stroked the fabric and realized that it was made of leather and it was short, damn short.
It would probably just reach just above my knees.
It had an open back that closed in a V just above my butt, but was completely closed at the front up to my chest.
It was provocative and strained the imagination, but it didn't allow any insight.
I sat down on the small bench in the wardrobe, breathing heavily, and tried to organize my thoughts, but before I realized it and could give in, my head hurt and memories flashed back.

POV Tony

"F.R.I.D.A.Y. give me an update on Y/N. Is she still sleeping?" I asked, getting up from my stool in the workshop to go upstairs.
"She's awake and has a pulse of 118, but doesn't seem to be moving, Mr. Stark," I got as an answer and immediately ran up the stairs.
I ran past the living room where Barnes and Nat were still romping around and ignored their calls to continue running towards Y/N's room.
But I was stopped from running by a cold grip on my shoulder.
I saw a worried Barnes looking at me.
"Tell me what's going on right now, Stark!" he snapped at me.
"Something's going on in there, so let me go right now, Barnes!" I spat at him and he immediately let go of me.
I ran on quickly and pushed the door handle, but nothing happened. "F.R.I.D.A.Y. unlock Y/N's room," I shouted stressed and immediately heard the familiar click of the lock.
I quickly entered while Natasha prevented Barnes from following me inside.

I looked around and found Y/N sitting on the floor in the corner of her closet.
Her hands were pressed convulsively to her head, but she didn't seem to be quite there.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y. what's wrong with Y/N?!" I shouted, almost panicking.
"Apart from her increased pulse, I can't detect any other noticeable symptoms, Mr. Stark," she said and I was more than just dissatisfied with this answer.
Just as I was about to call out to Nat to get Banner, I felt her arms relax around her head.
She looked at me in shock.

"What are you doing?" she asked, a little out of breath. "Are you okay?" I asked, relieved, and breathed out deeply.
"Yes, why shouldn't I be okay?" she replied, looking at me confused.
"Your pulse was racing and you were sitting there with your hands pressed to your head like a madwoman, Y/N," I answered her.
"There's no need to worry, Stark," she practically spat at me and stood up.
"I'd like to change, so would you be so kind as to leave?" she said without looking at me.

Why did she stay so calm after all this?
There was something fishy going on here, but I left it at that for now and disappeared from the room.
Barnes looked at me questioningly and I motioned for him to follow me.
Meanwhile, I called the team together for a meeting.
