Chapter 9

Emily's POV

I woke up today at 7:30 a.m to get ready for my doctors appointment. I got in the shower. I shaved and washed my body and hair. I got out twenty minutes later. I put the towel around my body and another towel around my head. I went to my room and locked the door. I took the towel off my body and put my undergarments on. I decided to wear a black tight long sleeve shirt and a white skinny jeans. I put my sandals on. I went to the bathroom and did my makeup. I braided my hair. Then I straightened it. I took out the braid and it turned out wavy.

I grabbed my phone off my charger and walked to my closet to get my purse. I walked to the kitchen. "Hey Emily" Maddie said "Hey. Why are you up so early?" I asked. "Because I need to tell you something". She said nervously replied. "Okay, now tell me" I said. "Well Nash called Cameron to see when was your next appointment. So I told Cameron when it was. He told Nash. Then Nash wanted to know what doctor and what time. Again I told Cameron and he told Nash. Now I think he's going to the appointment." She said. "YOU What" I yelled. "He has to know he's the father" she said calmly. "Fine" I said mad. "I have to go bye." I said. I grabbed my keys and left. I drove to Starbucks. I got a Ice Tea Lemonade Sweetened. Then I headed to my appointment.

I got there and saw Nash's car. "Damn it" I mumbled. I got out and entered the doctors. I signed in. I sat down and went on my phone. Someone tapped my shoulder. Please don't be Nash. I turned to see who it was and it was Nash. "What" I said. "I came to the appointment not to fight but to see how the twins are doing." He said. "Since when do you care. The last time you said that they weren't your kids. So why try now." I said angry. "Because I realized how much of an asshole I was. I now believe that they are my kids." He said. "Okay but doesn't mean I forgive you." I said.
"Emily Clark" the nurse said. I got up and walked over to her with Nash behind me. She took us into a room. "Doctor Olsen will be right with you" she said and left. "How far along are you?" Nash asked. "Two and a half months." I answered. "When do you find out the genders?" He questioned. "When I'm about five months". I replied. Before he could reply Doctor Olsen walked in.

"Hows everything going for you Miss Clark". He asked. "Perfect". I said happily "And who is this young man" he asked "He's the father" I said. "Okay let's get started. Lift your shirt right under your breast" he said. I did as told. Then he put gel and rubbed the wand thing around. "Everything seems to be alright" he said. "Good" I said. "Would you like pictures" he asked. "Yes" I answered. "How many" he asked. "Two please" I said. With that he left.
"Here's my number so you can call me if anything happens" Nash said. I nodded and smiled. "Here are you pictures and your next appointment is June 25 at 10:00 a.m" he said. "Ok. Thank you" I said. I rubbed the gel off and we left. I went up to the receptionist and told her when my next appointment was. She nodded. I left. "Emily can I ask you something" Nash said "Sure" I said "I was wondering if we can meet up to discuss about the twins" he asked. "Yea how about tomorrow at three" I said "Yea sure text me your address" He said. "OK" I said and got in my car and added Nash's number to my phone. I decided to visit Daniel.

I left the parking lot and went to his house. I pulled up. I rang his doorbell and a girl my age answered. "Is Daniel here" I asked. "Yeah, but who are you" the girl said. "I'm his girlfriend" I said confused. "No, I'm his girlfriend" she said. Then Daniel came to the door. "So you were cheating on me" I said with tears. "I'm sorry" he said. "Were done" I said. "No, give me another chance Emily please. I fucked up". He said crying. "Yeah you did fuck up. But I'm not stupid enough to give you another chance. Bye Daniel". I yelled. I got in my car and went home. I went to my room and cried. "Emily how wa-. What happened?" Maddie asked. "Daniel. He cheated on me." I said sobbing. "Ima beat that little piece of shit. Ima make sure he doesn't have kids.!" She yelled. I smiled and laughed a little. "I thought he loved me" I said. "He stupid for not noticing how beautiful and gorgeous you are." She said smiling. "You know how to cheer me up Maddie". "I got my ways." She said laughing. "Do you wanna go watch a movie" I asked. "Yea let me just grab my purse and phone" she said walking out. I went to grab my keys. "Ready" she asked. "Yea. Oh and were taking my car" I said. "I haven't been in your car". "Well now is your chance." I said. I locked the front door. We got in my car and left.

When we got there, I parked. We got out and went to buy the tickets. "What movie" I asked. "How about we watch a kids movie?" Maddie said. "Minions it is" I said. "Two tickets to see the Minions." I said to the lady. "That will be $16.95" she said. I gave her a $20 dollar bill. She gave me the tickets and my change. We went to get snacks and popcorn. We entered the theatre and watched the movie.

"That movie was cute" I said. "Yup it was" Maddie said. We got in my car and left. We got home and ate ice cream. "What time is it." I asked. "6:30 p.m." Maddie replied. "I got to hit the hay" I said. "Alright night Emily" "Night Maddie." I changed into my PJ's and took off my make up. I put my phone on the charger and went to bed.

I got up to my phone ringing. It was Nash.

E= Yea here's my address 4533 West Banard
N= Be there in ten minutes
E=Alright

I got up and got ready. I put dry shampoo in my hair. I brushed my teeth. I straightened my hair. I went to my closet and got my white shirt and black shorts. I put my sandals on. I went to the bathroom and washed my face and put makeup on. As soon as I finishe, someone knocked. I walked to the door and answered. "Hey" Nash said. "Hey come in" I said. I closed the door behind him. "So what did you want to talk about" I said nervously. "I want to know if you have enough space for the twins here." He said. " I was planning to put their cribs in my room, but when I have enough money for a down payment for a house I'm moving. " I said. "I was thinking if you want me to buy you a house big enough for the twins and you?" He said looking down. "I can't let you do that" I said "I want to since your pregnant with my kids." He said. "If you want, but I still don't want you to" I said looking down. "We go house shopping tomorrow " he said. "OK " I said. "Would you like to go on a date with me. If you don't wa-" I cut him off. "Yes" I said. "Really" he said surprised "Yup" I said laughing "I'll pick you up today at 6:00pm. Dress fancy." He said. "Okay I'll see you later." I said. With that he left. I looked at the time and it was 12:30 pm. I went to Maddie's room to wake her up. "Maddie" I yelled. "What" she groaned. "Get your ass up. Its already twelve-thirty." I yelled. "Fine" she groaned. I went to the kitchen and made lunch since we missed breakfast. I made Chicken Alfredo with cheesy bread. "Maddie" I yelled. "I'm coming" she yelled. "Thats what she said" I yelled laughing. "Very funny" she said once she was in the kitchen. "Nope hilarious " I said laughing. "Anyways what did you want" she said glaring at me. "Do you want Chicken Alfredo with cheesy bread." I asked. "Yes" she said licking her lips. I served her and myself. "I have to tell you something" I said looking down at my food. "What is it" she asked. "I'm moving" I said. "Why" she said pouting. "Well Nash is willing to buy a house for me and the twins." I said " At least it's for the twins, but I'm going to miss you." She said. "I know but you can always visit." I said. I looked at the time and it was 4:30pm. " I have to get ready" I said. "Why" she asked confused. "Oh um I have a date with Nash" I said. "Oooooh Emily" she said emphasizing the O. "No it's not like that" I said. "Are you sure" she asked. "Well I kind of have a bit of feelings for him." I said looking down. "You'll have to wait and see. Now go get dressed." She commanded. "OK mother " I yelled. I went to my room and grabbed clean undergarments. I went to my closet and I picked out a strapless dress that goes to knee length. I went to the bathroom and showered. When I finished I got out and dries myself. I put my bra and underwear on. Then I put my dress on. I blowed dried my hair then curled it into tight curls. I put makeup on. I first put concealer, then top and bottom eyeliner, and lip gloss. I put lotion on and grabbed my purse and phone.
