Chapter 24

1 Week Later

Emily's POV

Its been a week since the accident. I have back pains, because of fall. The doctor gave me pain medication that was safe for the twins. Nash went out again this morning. He's been leaving all this week. I have a feeling he's cheating, but I could be wrong.

Anyways I am currently laying in bed watch Criminal Minds. I hardly get out of bed, since the doctor said I have to be on bed rest.

It is currently 12:00pm. I heard a knock at the door. I got up and walked downstairs, carefully.

I opened the door and saw Maddie. I let her in. "Hey" I said.

"Hey, go change into something pretty." She said lightly pushing me upstairs.

"Why?" I questioned. "Because I said so." She said.

OK Then.

I went to the room and went through my closet. I chose to wear a white sundress, because I didn't feel wearing shorts or pants.

I went to the bathroom and combed my hair. I applied make up. It included eyeliner and mascara. Afterwards I grabbed my phone from the charger and went downstairs carefully.

"Where we going?" I ask.

"Somewhere." She replied opening the door.

I nod.

We get in her car and she starts to drive. About 10 minutes later, we end up at her apartment.

Weird.

We get off and walk to her apartment. Once we get to the door, she covers my eyes with her hands.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

She doesn't reply. I hear her open the door. She helps me enter her apartment. She takes her hands off. Its dark.

"SURPRISE!" People yell and the lights turn on.

A baby shower.

There was a banner on the wall that said "Congratulations". There were balloons that either had "it's a boy" , or "its a girl".

I was speechless.

"Wow." Was all I was managed to say.

Everyone was there. All my friends.

They all hugged me. "Thank you!" I said. "No problem." Dani said. I started to call her Dani instead of Danielle.

It was now time to open the gifts.

First was Cameron and Maddie. I opened the box. It was little Nike shoes for Landon and little black sandals for Leah.

Lyndsey and Taylor got Leah a pink bandana and Landon a blue bandana.

Shawn and Alize got Landon onesies and Leah dresses.

Jack J and Elissia got Leah a basket full of head bands and onesies and Landon a basket full of onesies and little shoes.

Jack G and Karime got Landon a stuffed bear with his name on the right foot and Leah a stuffed unicorn with her name on the right foot.

Aaron and Galilea got Leah a purple blanket with her name in cursive writing in the middle and Landon a blue blanket with his name in cursive writing in the middle.

Jacob and Naylea got Landon a black stroller and Leah a pink and black stroller.

Hayes and Itati got Leah and Landon cute little outfits.

Matthew and Dani got them car seats that matched their strollers.

Carter and Trenedy got them stuffed animals and blankets.

Nash's parents got them bottles, bottles, and baby wipes.

Nash handed me a box. I opened it.
It was three bracelets. One with Leah's name on it and the other with Landon's name on it. The third one had Nash's, Leah's, and Landon's name on it. I kissed him.

I thanked everyone.

Next, we had cake. Nash brought it out. It was a two layer cake. On the top it had two babies one with a blue diaper and the other a pink diaper.

It was so cute.

It is currently 8:00pm. I am really tired. I changed into a spandex shorts and a tank top. I walked downstairs and grabbed a glass of water. Nash was on the couch watching tv.

"Can I tell you something?" I asked walking towards the living room.

"Go for it."

" For some stupid reason, um, I think that your cheating on me because, you've been leaving this past week and the week before." I said.

"Babe, I would never cheat on you. I left because I was planning the Baby Shower. Trust me I would never do that I love way to much." "I'm sorry I assumed things." I shook my head. "Its alright, babe. Go to bed I'll be there in a minute."

I nodded. I headed up the stairs and set the glass of water on the drawer next to me. I layed in bed and covered myself.

Before I drifted to sleep, I felt Nash lay in bed and wrapped his arm around me.
