Chapter 12

Emily's POV

I woke up at 8:30 am. I literally hate waking up before ten am. I decided to have a lazy day since Maddie is hanging out with Cameron. I got up and brushed my teeth. I got in the shower. I washed my body with my vanilla scented body wash. I then washed my hair. I rinsed off and got out. I wrapped the towel around me. I walked to my room and closed the door. I walked to my closet and rummaged through it looking for clothes.

I decided on the maternity clothes I got yesterday. Which was a white shirt and jean shorts. I let my hair air dry. I grabbed my phone and went on instagram. I changed my Bio from: Taken by Daniel Vega . 16 years of age. My ride or die: Maddie Smith. Class of 2017.

After I changed my Bio, I went to the kitchen to eat. I decided to make eggs since that's all we got. Note to self go grocery shopping. I grabbed two eggs from the refrigerator, a bowl from the cabinet, and a spoon from the drawer. I cracked the eggs on the counter and then cracked them open in the bowl. I put a little salt in it and mixed it. I grabbed a pan and placed it on the stove. I put cooking oil on it. I let heat up. Then I put the eggs in the pan. After a minute I flipped it over. When it was ready, I grabbed a plate and placed the eggs on it. I got the ketchup out of the refrigerator and put some on the eggs. I grabbed a fork and ate. When I finished, I decided to watch a movie, but I didn't have snacks.

I grabbed my car keys and went to Wal-Mart. I parked in a empty spot close to the store. I entered Wal-Mart and grabbed a basket. I went straight to where the candy was. I grabbed jolly ranchers, pixie sticks, Hershey kisses, and starburst. Then I went to the ice cream aisle. I grabbed a bucket of cookies and cream. I went to checkout.

The lady scanned the items. "Your total is $23.31" the lady said. I gave her $30 Dollars. "Your change is $6.69. Here's your receipt. Have a great day" the lady said cheerfully. "Thank you and you too" I said grabbing the bags. I got to my car band put the stuff in.

I went to Starbucks. "May I have a Ice Tea Lemonade Sweetened" I asked. "Yes, what size" the man spoke through the speaker. "Um Venti" I said. "Okay is that all for you today" he asked. "Yes" I said. "Your total is $5.54" he said. "okay" I said and pulled up to the window. I payed the guy and he gave me my drink. I went home afterwards. I parked and got out. I grabbed the bags and my drink. I put the ice cream in the freezer. I grabbed my drink and the candies and went to the living room. I decided to watch Frozen. I can be a bit childish at times.

I 'awed' at the part where Olaf said "Some people are worth melting for" . I looked at the time and it read. 2:48 pm. I took a nap.

~Two Hours Later~

I woke up to yelling. I got up and went to the living room. The yelling came from Maddie and Cameron. "Why the fuck are you guys yelling" I said. "Because Cameron was flirting with a girl right in front of me " Maddie said calmly. "No I wasn't" Cameron said. "Yes you were. You were letting her!!" Maddie yelled. Why couldn't they do this outside. I was sleeping. "You know what I need a break Cameron " Maddie said. "Okay I'll call you later" Cameron said. "No, I mean I need a break from us" whispered Maddie. "No, you can't do this Maddie" Cameron said with tears in his eyes. "Leave Cameron " she said. Cameron walked to the door. Before he left he said "I love you Maddie Smith".

Once he closed the door, Maddie broke. I hugged her. "Do you wanna watch a movie to get your mind of things?" I asked. "No, I think I'm just going to bed" she said still sobbing. She walked to her room and I went to my room. I didn't think Maddie needed a break from Cameron. I honestly thought she was going to say she needed a break from everything not Cameron. I felt bad when Cameron left crying. I'm going to have to talk to Maddie. Anyways, I need to call Nash to see if he's coming to the ultrasound.

Hey are you coming with me tomorrow for the ultrasound?

Yea. What time?

Ten but meet me there by nine-fifty.

After I talked to him, I took a shower. I washed my hair and body. Afterwards I got out and dried myself. I put my PJ's on even though it was around five. I put my hair in a pony tail and sat on my bed. I turned my tv on and flipped through the channels. I ended up watching Full House. I fell asleep at 8:00 pm.

~~THE NEXT MORNING~~

I woke up at 8:30 am. I got dressed in a black shirt and jean shorts. I combed my hair and brushed my teeth. I let my hair down. I went to the kitchen and grabbed yogurt. I finished and went to get my phone and wallet. I looked at the time. It read 9:30 am. I grabbed my keys and locked the door on my way out. I got in my car and went to the Dr's. When I got there I saw Nash's car. I walked in and sat next to Nash. "Hey." He whispered. "Hey." I returned with a smile. "I got to go sign in" I said getting up. "I already signed you in" Nash said. "Thanks." "Emily Clark." The nurse said.

Nash and I got up and followed her. She took us in a room. "The doctor will be right with you" she said. "Okay thanks" I said with a smile. She left. "So when are we going to move in the house." Nash asked. "Whenever you want to or whenever we get furniture." I said. "Okay well let's get the furniture tomorrow." He said. "You really want to move in." I said. "Well duh. And it's better because I'm moving in with you." He said. "Cheesy much" I giggled.

Then the doctor came in. "Hello. Hows it going so far?" He asked. "Good" I said. "Lift your shirt and I'll put the gel on." He said. I did as told. He put the gel on and moved the wand around my belly. "Theres your babies" he said pointing to the screen. "Do you wanna hear the heartbeats" He asked. "Of course" I said smiling from ear to ear. Once I heard my babies heartbeats, tears were coming down. I looked at Nash and he also was crying. "Your babies are healthy as can be." The doctor said. "You can find out the genders on your next appointment. Which is in a month when you are five months." He said. I wiped the gel of my belly and left.

"Ill pick you up tomorrow at twelve." Nash said. "Okay" I said. I gave him a peck on the lips and left. Once I got home I went to talk to Maddie. I knocked on her door. "Come in" I heard her yell. I walked in and saw Maddie. She looked terrible and when I say terrible I mean TERRIBLE. She has tears stains on her cheeks, her hair wasn't brushed, and looks like she hasn't showered in days. "Maddie I know you miss Cameron." I said. "I know. I want to get back with him, but I dont know how to though." She said. " I could tell Nash to call Cameron and have him tell him to meet you somewhere." I said. "Thanks your the best" she said. "I know" I said smiling. I left her room and watch movies until 8:00 pm. I put me PJ's on and went to sleep.
