It was about midnight when my parents finally fell asleep. In my bedroom I slightly open the window trying to be as quiet as I can. as I finished opening the window I climbed out and hung onto the vines crawling up my house. I carefully climbed all the way down. Matt and Chloe who are my best friends were already standing at the bottom waiting for me." I still think this is a bad idea".Chloe said. Me and Matt ignored her as we grabbed the ropes from our shed. We it took us about a 4 mile walk until we finally got to the school. " let's do this". Matt said. We went over to one of the windows and pushed it open surprisingly it wasn't locked. All three of us climb in . We slowly sneaked through the halls trying to find the math class. When we finally found it I went in and was searching through the desk. " found it. I said. Chloe and Matt quickly came over to me. It was a folder with all the math test answers. I quickly put it in my bag and started to walk out of the room. as soon as I open my eyes the principal and three police officers were standing there. " oh no.I said. Next thing I knew I was on the drive back to my parents house. They dropped me off and the principal went inside to talk to my parents. I knew what was coming next. I quickly ran upstairs before my parents heard me and came out. I looked from the stairs and they didn't look happy. I quickly texted Chloe and Matt to ask them if they got taken home to. Thankfully they did. My stepfather marched into my room and snatched my phone." HEY!. I said. " you unthankful brat. He said. as he hit me across the face. As I fell over he kicked me in the stomach and left the room. he slapped me so hard my mouth is bleeding. I went to the bathroom and looked at the damage. That's gonna leave a mark I said to myself. I lifted up my shirt to reveal a massive bruise on my stomach. I wash my mouth out to get the blood out of my mouth. Honestly I had bruises all over my body but this time it really hurt. Then my mom walked up the stairs and looked at me with disgust." Do you know if you weren't born I Would've been sitting on a yacht!" she cursed. I was used to it by now her always telling me how much better her life would've been if I wasn't born. I walked past her and went to my room immediately. That night I had a hard time sleeping. The sound of my mom and stepfather yelling at each other was just extra loud tonight. At the end of their argument I could hear my mother crying .he must've hit her or something. I thought to myself. The next morning I woke up and grabbed all my school stuff. I can't believe I still have to go to school! It didn't matter the bus drives over and I got in and sat next to my boyfriend Tom. Tom was A sweet emo boy. He had dark black hair dark brown eyes and a lip piercing. He never really smart except when I sat next to him. " I heard about your little cheating attempt" he said with a smile. He looked at the side of my face that was bruised because of my step dad. " your stepdad?" he said. I nodded. I laid my head on his shoulder trying not to think about it. After a minute or two we finally got to the school. My first class was science. I grab my stuff from my locker and started walking to science when a girl stopped me. It was Jenna Parks. " what happened to your face daddy issues?"she said with a evil smile. For reference Jenny Parks was one of many of my bullies. I ignored her and walked past her before she tried to stop me I started running and I finally got to science class luckily we didn't have that class together so she wasn't allowed in. I went through The first half of the day without seeing Chloe or Matt. I wondered where they were? I didn't have my phone so I couldn't text them. All of a sudden I saw Matt walking in the halls. I was about to go to him but I noticed he was holding a sharpie and started drawing on some nerds locker. I didn't really care what he was writing but I went over to him." hey I haven't seen you the whole day". I said. " yeah I've been busy" he said. and then he walked away..
