•Chapter 2•

~Sidharth's pov:

I woke up hearing the stupid alarm blasting near my ears well what an amazing start of the day!!

I want a break from this shitty ass life.

No offense i love being a CEO but sometimes it's just too boring and irritating.

I got ready super quick because i got tons of meetings todayyyyyyy!!!!

Walking out of the room i heard mom shouting near Dev's room because he still hasn't woken up and probably she is ready to beat his ass.

Reaching down the stairs I saw my dad reading the newspaper.

"Morning dad" I wished him but soon groaned looking at his expressions.

"Very good morning Mr.Ceo" Amit Shukla, my beloved dad and also former CEO of Shukla industries replied smirking.

"You look creepy doing that you know?" I said sipping my much needed black coffee.

"It's soo much fun to be retired and watching your son dreading going to work every morning" he said making me roll my eyes.

"Will you stop teasing my son Mr.Amit Shukla" there came the voice of Avni Shukla, my mom. The only person my dad fears!

"Morning maa" I replied quickly giving her a hug who smiled at me.

"Morning beta" she replied happily making my dad give me a look as i smirked looking at him.

"Why do you always favour him? I am your husband baby!" My dad pouted making me look at him with 'stop-with-your-cringey-acts', making him glare at me.

My parents have always been a fan of PDA. it's cute no offence but still sometimes it gets too much to be honest.

"And why do you always want to seek attention dad" Dev Shukla, my stupid ass brother asked coming down the stairs.

"Shut up maa ka chamcha" Dad replied grumpily.

I laughed looking at his expressions. 

"Stop with the drama, Dev finish your breakfast quickly  because you are already very late!" Mom said while glaring at my brother who just gave her a flying kiss.

"Are you jealous of your own son Mr.Shukla?" I whispered to dad as he was glaring at my dear brother who looked unbothered.

"Shut up" he glared at me making me chuckle.

My parents are the definition of love. Dad was a lover boy who proposed to my mom when she was just a junior. My mom ignored him for 3 years but seeing dad who didn't stop expressing his love even after 3 years she said yes, and from then till now he is still very much obsessed with her.

"Jaldi thus mujhe late hora haii tere wajah se" I said to Dev who just munched on the sandwich ignoring me. Well fine then.

I got up and started walking out the door after bidding my parents off.

Minutes later i saw Dev walking out with a sandwich in his mouth looking grumpy. Well told ya!

"Muh kya fulla rakha haii fek dunga abhi gaadi se fir chal ke jaana" I said making him glare at me.

"Abb shant baitha hu toh bhi aapko problem haii" he said making me laugh at my baby brother.

I soon reached the office after dropping my brother to the college.

Reaching the office i went straight to the office nodding at people who wanted nothing but to be at the good side of mine.

Upon reaching the cabin my secretary Rahul started with the schedules for the day.

Just as i was sipping my coffee, the door of my cabin burst open.

There comes my idiotic best friend, Jay Khanna.

"Aur bhai kya haal chaal?" He asked grinning before taking the paperweight and tossing it around.

"Do you even go to your company? Ever?" I asked him because he is here all the time.

"Are you not happy seeing your one and only best friend?" He said pouting. Ew.

"Fortunately yes now fuck off!" I replied smiling making him look at me with an 'i-am-offended' look.

"You have signed up for a lifetime contract with me so i will not fuck off" He replied sweetly making me sigh.

I guess i will have to tolerate him the whole day now!

Not that I don't enjoy the stupid gossips he has, but he doesn't have to know about it! Shush!!
