the next day had unfolded like any other—a lazy sunday where clementine allowed herself to take a breath, the hum of the city muted as she stayed inside, away from the noise. she hadn't planned much; after a whirlwind industry event the night before, her body craved the stillness of home. but her mind? that was another story.
as she sat curled up on her couch, scrolling through social media, the memories of the previous evening kept replaying in her head. the music industry gathering had been just another obligatory appearance, but somehow, it had become more than that.
