Filler chapter
Nadine and Stefan have been working together on sign language so she won't have to worry about a notebook or her phone and Stefan, so he can read what she is saying. They weren't worried about anything. That was till someone walked in and cleared their throats. Nadine looked and was surprised to see Elijah. "Hello, Nadine."
She walked over to him and hugged him. Elijah hugged her too, but she pulled back and signed. "I missed you."
Elijah was confused till Stefan spoke up. "She missed you. We have been staying away from Elena and them as Nadine is pregnant and we have been working on sign language so she can communicate without having to find a notebook and to use her phone." Stefan tells him from his spot. "What brings you by?"
"Nik is having dinner tonight with your brothers. As Max was the reason behind taking the coffins." Nadine was confused as well as Stefan. "You two have truly been to yourselves." They nodded. "There's a lot you must know, but Nadine, we're getting our family back." She smiled, but she froze as she realized one person.
She shook her head. "No, don't wake her up." She signed.
"Don't wake her up." Stefan tells Elijah. "Baby, who are you talking about?'
Nadine took a deep breath in. "Mother." She signed.

Later that night, Stefan was keeping Nadine's mind off of her mother waking up. He danced with her as he was trying to do everything it takes to get her mind off of everything. Resting her head against his chest, she smiled as she was safe. "Nadine?" She turned to see Kol, Finn and her mother.
Stefan held Nadine tight as he knew. She was scared.
