Today is Caroline's birthday, but Nadine had given her a gift, but she didn't want to be around Elena either. Sighing, she grabbed the gift and kissed Stefan. "Where are you going?'

Showing the gift, Stefan smiled as she started writing down. Caroline's. It's her birthday and I wanted her to have this gift. She hates today as she's not going to age like a normal human being. She died and is like us, but I want her to know that she gets to see what I saw over thousands of years being like I am.

"Baby, I love you."

She smiled as she walked over to him and kissed him. Stefan smiled as he pulled her back to bed with her on top of him. Pulling back, Nadine smiled. I love you. She mouthed.

"One day, I will marry you, Nadine and this baby, I can't wait for us to meet him or her."

Me too.

"We'll finish this later. I think you are needed and so am I."

Nadine nodded as she kissed him again. Stefan smiled as he knew she didn't want to end what was happening, but they were needed.

Caroline shook her head at her friends as she heard a knock. Walking to the door, she told Elena, Bonnie and Matt this. "I will never age and seventeen is where I'm stuck at. If I could, I would turn back time, but I'm stuck like this." Opening the door, she saw the mute Mikaelson. "Nadine? I didn't think you would be here because of Bonnie and Elena."

Pulling her phone out, Caroline read what she wrote. Yes, I'm mad at them, but today is your birthday. My first true friend. I have you a present, but it's not what you think. Nadine gave her four diaries causing the blonde to continue to read. These four diaries are what I have went through, witnessed and watch the world change. I was hoping this will help you and as my and Stefan's godmother, I thought these diaries would help.

"I don't know what to say." Caroline says as she pulled her friend into a hug. "Thank you for being the best. I think I have a best friend in you as you don't treat me like others do. You show me love, care, and everything I always wanted to feel. I'm so grateful for you and Stefan."

Taking her phone back, Nadine wrote one last thing as she was going to go speak to her brother. We are always going to be with you. You're family. Always and forever.

Caroline smiled. "Always and forever."

I will show in the next chapter what happens. I just wanted to focus on Nadine and Caroline's friendship in this chapter.
