~~~{❤️🩹}~~~"Again, huh?" He asks quietly.
James nodded slowly, and Elijah took a deep breath.
"C'mere." He said softly, pulling James into an embrace;
James' eyes begin to overflow with tears, and soon, tears pour out uncontrollably, pouring down his cheeks and under his chin. Elijah makes James feel normal. Elijah is always there for him, James feels a warmth with Elijah that even Josh couldn't make him feel, he couldn't understand the feeling. Maybe it's security? Even so, James finds comfort in it, Elijah and James instantly clicked when they met.
They didn't have an awkward stage. They just loved the presence of one another. After a few minutes, James calms down, his breathing slows down and the tears stop. He pulls out of the embrace and looks into Elijah's eyes, James smiles slightly.
Elijah has beautiful emerald-green eyes. Elijah lifts a hand to wipe away James' tears, James' smile withers away as he stares into Elijah's eyes, which are fixated on James' face and wiping his tears away.
James never noticed how Elijah looks at him until now, he looks at James with admiration and adoration, almost like its...love?
Elijah lowers his hand back down and softly says, "Third time this week."
James looked away and took a deep breath.
"You deserve better, you know?" Elijah says low, almost in a whisper tone.
James closes his eyes and leans against Elijah. James can feel Elijah's heartbeat, it's normal and comforting. Usually, it's fast, but not tonight.
"How did you know I'd need you?" James asked curiously. Elijah let out a long deep sigh.
"It's Josh, he always does this on his day off, plus I was at the party too." He replies and James pops his head up,
"Really? You were? Why?" He questions, curiosity filling his voice.
"I tried to find someone there to forget my feelings for someone." He admits, feeling disappointed in himself.
They sat there in silence for a few minutes, it was like the world had gone quiet with them.
The street lights were on, and the usual humming that emitted from it had gone silent, and the crickets were quieter than normal as well.Soon, they hear shuffling behind them as the door opens. Josh is standing there, half-dressed; He reeked of alcohol and sweat.
"Take James to your house again tonight," Josh mutters to Elijah before turning back around and walking back inside, slamming the door and locking it.
James wasn't surprised, Josh had lost interest in him a while ago and James was aware of that.
Elijah stood up and walked down the stairs, turning around and looking at James with concern and curiosity."I don't see why you're still with him," Elijah says in a low, quiet tone then chuckles under his breath.
James walks down the steps and over to Elijah and looks him in the eyes, extending a hand to place on Elijah's face. Elijah grabs his wrist pulling him closer.
"You know he's no good for you, Darling," Elijah Whispered. James interlinks Elijah's hand in his own.
Elijah always loved physical touch from James, it makes his heart skip a beat, every single time. James warmly smiles at Elijah,
