It had been a long day for the Indian cricket team, and tensions were running high. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli had just finished a training session, but instead of celebrating their progress, an argument erupted between them.

“Tumhe hamesha sab kuch achhe se karke dikhana hai, na? Tumhe apne aap se itna khush nahi hona chahiye!” Virat snapped, frustration evident in his tone. He paced back and forth in their living room, hands clenched into fists.

[You have to do everything well, don't you? You don't have to be so happy with yourself]

Rohit, leaning against the kitchen counter, felt a knot tighten in his stomach. “Mujhe bas thoda waqt chahiye tha apne game par focus karne ke liye. Tumhe kyun lagta hai ke main sirf tumhare liye nahi khel raha?” His voice was strained, struggling to keep his cool.

[I just needed some time to focus on my game? Why do you think that I don't play for you?]

Virat stopped in his tracks, turning to face Rohit. “Har baar tum mujhe ignore karte ho, jaise main tumhare liye kuch nahi hoon! Kya tumhe nahi pata ke main tumse kitna care karta hoon?” The words came out sharper than he intended.

[You ignore me everytime as if I don't mean a thing to you! Don't you know how much I care for you? ]

“Care? Toh mujhe apne tareeke se samjha do! Tumhara tareeka sirf mujhe aur zyada disturb karta hai!” Rohit shot back, the tension between them escalating.

[Then tell me in your way, your this way is disturbing me more]

“Main tumhe behtar banane ki koshish kar raha hoon, par tumhe samajh nahi aata!” Virat's voice rose, his frustration spilling over. “Tumhe kabhi bhi apne aap ko sambhalna nahi aata! Kya tumhe is baat ka ahsaas nahi hai?”

[I am trying to make you better but you can't understand this, you don't know how to carry yourself, Don't you realize that?]

Rohit felt his heart drop. “Tumhe pata hai ke meri personal life mein kitna kuch chal raha hai! Tum sirf meri professional life ki chinta karte ho, lekin mujhe khud ko sambhalna hai, samjhe?”

[You know how much problem is going on in my personal life, you just care about my professional life, but I have to take care of myself, understood?]

Virat stepped closer, eyes narrowed, trying to make Rohit understand. “Yeh sirf tumhare liye nahi hai! Yeh humare liye hai! Kya tumne kabhi socha hai ke main kitna worried hoon?”

[This is not just about you! This is about us! Have you ever thought how much I am worried?]

“Main koi chhota baccha nahi hoon, Virat! Mujhe khud se zyada tumhari care ki zaroorat nahi hai!” Rohit yelled back, hurt and anger mixing in his voice.

[I am not a little child, virat! I don't need your care more than I need to care for myself]

The silence that followed felt like a heavy blanket suffocating them both. Rohit turned away, emotions swirling inside him, and in that moment of vulnerability, he stormed out, slamming the door behind him. Virat stood there, stunned, knowing he had crossed a line.

As Rohit drove aimlessly, his mind raced with thoughts of their fight. He replayed every word, every accusation, and it felt like a weight he couldn't shake off. Frustration clouded his judgment, and he lost track of his surroundings.
