                                                                           "sitting arrangement"

It's not that Ray and Raven didn't get along, it's just that they maybe never really noticed each other, I mean they definitely knew the other existed but they never talked or interacted. Maybe they saw each other as competition, but competition for what? There was nothing really to win as a junior in high school, attention maybe? But who's?  Nobody really knew but everyone could sense some type of light tension between them. It's not like they were crazy popular or anything, I mean they weren't unpopular Raven was one of the best football players and Ray was funny and extroverted.

When Ray was walking to his 3rd period English class he remembered something, it was a new seating arrangement day. Ray wasn't exactly excited or anything but he was happy to get away from the guy he was sitting next to, they was he breathed, the way he talked, the way he would tap his pencil on his desk when he was thinking, just annoyed him to where he could barely function.

When he entered the room he looked up on the board to see in big letters "New seating!!". He didn't get why it was so exciting to his teacher but I guess that is what makes you happy when you teach for over 23 years.

He looked up the the other side of the board to see  where he was going to sit. He saw his name in the back row, he smiled to himself, just where he liked where no one could see what he was doing. Not that he ever did anything to be honest. He sat down and put all his stuff away then placed his head down in his arms.

He was tired from the day before, he had to help his parents with their store until 11 and didn't get home until 12. He got little sleep but enough to manage trough the day. Ray knew that it would be at least 10 more minutes until everyone was here and ready to start class so he could at least get a little sleep in.

Raven barged through the door not wanting to be late and quickly looked at the board to see where he would be sitting. Right next to Ray.

He sighed but not really knowing why he did, they never really fought or even talked. He walked to the back and sat down next to him. Realizing they had never been this close before Raven really started to think about Ray, Maybe he was different then he thought maybe he was actually nice.

Raven did always think Ray was cute but never fully accepted that. Raven was also tired but didn't want Ray to think he was copying him by also laying down his head so he just stared at the ceiling waiting for class to start.

Ray knew Raven was now next to him and didn't know how to feel, He also started to think about Raven, he knew Raven was cute I mean everyone, did Raven was hot that was a well known fact and this made Ray nervous, he didn't know why but it did.

oopsey did not know I wrote that whole thing in bold but any who hi to whoever is reading this and THANK YOU this is my first story I've ever written and I dont know where I'm going to go with this but I'll figure that out as I go soo yea. right now for me it is October 9th, 2024 11:09 pm   so that means I will try to update this by at least October 13 but I will probubly update it tommorw or the next day. ALSO sorry for any spelling or Grammer mistakes please ik I'm bad ONEE LAST THINGGGG I am still in school so please have mercy for late updates I'm just doing this for funzies buy anywhooo goodnight guyss😋
