Third Person POV
"Relax, no one's going to die. Not when they have me to patch them up."
Everyone took a silent deep breath as they all saw Zoey's bloodshot eyes.
"Still, the plan must be solid. We can't have them accuse us of a dead body or an accident. You may be the best in meds, but they have the laws upper hands." Yuchen gulps as he tried to negotiate.
"Li Yang alone can handle that. She's the fiancé and CEO Private Secretary. She can handle the family from the inside as she manages Yibo in the office." Zoey simply stated.
"No, Yang can't handle both. Not when Yibo's state is like this." Haikuan glances at Yibo's sleeping figure, "let me the family, while Yang manages Yibo from the inside."
"Good idea, then who's gonna handle the outside?" Zoey slightly pressed. She needs all the hands she can get. This is a major plan, it won't just effect Yibo and Zhan, but also the twins and their future.
"What do you mean the outside? Weren't it just the Wangs that we're facing?" Xuan Lu voice out.
"Dear Xuan, we're facing the Wangs yes. But they're the biggest in China, remember? Imagine what happened to the others that's under them. Haikuan and Li Yang can handle them and the company, but what about Zhan, Cheng, Yuchen? Aren't they all working there? And the kids? They're all studying on the best school that's funded by the Wangs. They'll face the worse out of us, Xuan." just from the tone alone, anyone could tell Zoey's plan is major.
"The fall outs would mostly cost all of us..." Xuan streams.
"Exactly. Which is why the plan consist all of us and all sides. Including Yibo and Zhan."
"Wait, they're in this plan? But Zoey, they're not yet to recover." Xuan bit back. She can't have both of them worn out again. Their condition needs at least a few weeks max to recover. Not to mention, the plan is major, their roles must be the hardest.
"Again, relax. The plan is major, but we're all in this together. Besides, the hardest role is not theirs. It's Li Yang and mine." Everyone is confused, but not Li Yang.
"Li Yang, you knew about the twins, aren't you?" Zoey dropped the bomb, making everyone looked at Li Yang, who's sweating hard. "Lay it on the table."
'She got me.' She thought as Zoey smirks.
"Yang, you knew?" Haikuan shocked, "B-but why? Why didn't you tell us?"
"Yes, but I specifically do it to avoid the Wang Elders. Cause during that time, Zhan and his family has no backups. They could've easily either kill the twins or Zhan without Yibo even knowing." Li Yang backed up.
"I get that, but why 5 years, Yang?" Haikuan pressed.
"To get rid of your father first! He's the main deal in the Wang Family, the elders can't do much unless they have a puppet to do the dirty works." Li Yang burst out.
Li Yang's outburst is understandable, but not for Haikuan. He felt betrayed after knowing she hid the fact alone. In the Wangs, they're in this together to help Yibo, but Haikuan felt like he didn't do anything, and Li Yang was fighting alone. He felt useless. The rooms tension went thicker by the minute.
"You're not useless, Kuan." Zoey noticed Haikuan's demeanor changed. "Why would I put you in the plan if you're useless? Besides, Li Yang's right. Neither of us could go against them 5 years ago. We all gave our attention to both Yibo and Zhan's recovery plus the twins. Also, Zhan's identity as a Sean didn't help much as he's the last one. The elders would send an assassin to kill him, and no one would doubt them. Unless Zhan has some backups, then none of us could stand a chance." Zoey ruled out.
"Then what now?" Cheng finally opens up.
"That'll have to wait until they wake up. Which probably around 3 to 5 hours. I gave them strong ones that Zhan usually take, they're the main focus on this plan. So, we'll need their corporation and ideas to build this plan." Zoey calmly state as she sat down on one of the single armchairs, quietly sipping her coffee she got after her surgeries, sensing the Wangs worry, "Don't forget they're the ones who made the Gusu University Principal and the Head of Male Dormitory resign after they did Yubin dirty on his exchange programs."
"Oh, don't even start." Yuchen rubs his temple, "because of them, all of us became instant celebrities, I can't even go to bathroom without getting stalk by one of the girls." He slumps at the long sofa beside Xuan Lu.
"And I can't practice in peace, because of the fanboys would yell or shout during practices. I kept messing up my shots due to that. Good thing the coach was strict, so we ended up moving to the Literature Soccer Field which was indoors." Cheng groans as he rewinds the past.
"But the worst has to be them. Since they're dating in secret, they both either got confessed or flirted by both male and female students there. They ended up going public after Zhan almost got purposed by one of the Law students." Xuan Lu chuckles as she remembers that time Yibo yelled out Zhan's his boyfriend, threatening everyone who dares to take him away.
"Still, didn't change that Yubin almost got expelled because the Head of the Student Exchange Programs thought he's the one causing all the chaos." Zoey lowered her voice, "though it only took us like 5 minutes to shut them up. Heck, could've been less if both of them let me handle those fuckers."
"Of course they won't, both Zhan and Yibo won't let anyone end their mess. Though it's still a live saver that you brag into the office giving them a taste of hell." Yuchen laugh.
Recalling memories helps them calm down their inner turmoil. The fun times when the group still young and complete. The times when Zhan and Yibo's love were at their highest peak. It was their golden era. Everyone was so happy, enjoying life in collage, romance blooms but didn't shatter their friendship. Even Haikuan and Li Yang could relate, even though that time Haikuan already graduate, and Li Yang went to a different University, they both witnessed Yibo's love live when they meet or if they have a gathering.
Nostalgia hits them like a brick, sending them to dreamland as they waited for Zhan and Yibo to wake up.
