Kaminari stood, taken aback, as you ran out of the cafeteria area. He eventually walked back over to his friends in defeat. He slumped into his seat and lifted his head to meet the astonished faces of the group. He was feeling deflated after watching you leave him. Did you even want to hear him out? Did you care that he helped you?
"Did I go too far?"
The group was silent for a while, each of them waiting for another to speak first. Bakugo then spoke up before returning to eating his food.
"The rat deserved it."
The group then broke into conversation, along with the rest of the students in the hall. It was if the commotion had never happened. Kaminari wasn't complaining, but it just goes to show how ignorant people can be. Monoma earned laughs and teasing comments as he trailed on a walk of shame out the door, most likely heading to the bathrooms to wash off. Kaminari was aware that the whole scene had been recorded, and that he would inevitably be pulled aside to be spoken to by a teacher, but he didn't care at this point. Bakugo was right, the rat did deserve it.
Kaminari couldn't help thinking about you, wondering where you might have gone after running out of the hall. He was lost in thought when he was interrupted by a certain pink-haired ball of energy,
"Y/n probably went to the roof, if that's what you're thinkin' bout." She smirked, shoving a spoonful of rice into her mouth.
"H-how do you know she went there?" Kaminari asked, genuinely curious.
"Honey, I know everything." Mina replied, checking her nails (like the queen she is), then glancing back at him. "Now get gone, go run after her!" She shoved him out of his seat, waving him off.
Kaminari made his way to the exit of the cafeteria area and into the hallways. He was about to run up the stairs when he heard a familiar voice call out to him,
"Kaminari! Wait!"
He turned to find Jirou running after him, stopping in his tracks.
"If you're here to tell me not to go after y/n again, you can forget it." Kaminari said, sounding harsher than he expected.
