The weekend had arrived, and San was buzzing with excitement. He arrived at Wooyoung's apartment with a bag full of snacks—popcorn, candy, and a couple of soda bottles. He could already feel the thrill in the air, anticipating a night filled with laughter and closeness.

Wooyoung opened the door, a grin spreading across his face. "Hey! You made it!" He pulled San in for a quick hug, their bodies brushing against each other, sending warmth coursing through San.

"Of course! Wouldn't miss this for the world." San handed over the snacks, and Wooyoung ushered him inside.

The living room was cozy, lit by the soft glow of string lights, and a massive blanket was spread out on the floor in front of the TV. "I thought we'd keep it casual," Wooyoung said, gesturing to the setup. "Movie marathon style."

"Perfect," San said, his heart racing as he sank onto the blanket. They settled in next to each other, close enough that their shoulders touched, and the tension in the air was palpable.

As the first movie began, they dove into the snacks, laughing at the cheesy dialogue and sharing occasional teasing remarks. San felt more at ease with each passing moment, the warmth of Wooyoung's presence radiating off of him. Wooyoung leaned against him, and San draped his arm casually around his shoulders, kissing the top of his head. He felt content.

Halfway through the second movie, they began to cuddle more closely. San found himself with Wooyoung's head resting on his chest, his hand gently placed on San's thigh. The proximity felt electric, and he couldn't help but feel a flutter of anticipation, remembering what they'd shared before, and how much he wanted to do it again.

Just as San was getting lost in the moment, his phone buzzed on the blanket beside them. He grabbed it, expecting a mundane notification, but froze when he saw the name on the screen: Jake.

"Everything okay?" Wooyoung asked, glancing at him with concern as he felt San stiffen beneath him.

"Uh, it's just a text," San said, forcing a smile as he opened it. He read the message, and his stomach dropped. "Hey San, just checking in. Thought we could catch up sometime. I've missed you."

"Who's that?" Wooyoung asked, his tone shifting slightly as he pulled back from San.

"It's... just an ex," San replied, trying to sound casual but feeling the weight of Wooyoung's gaze on him.

Wooyoung's expression was unreadable. "Oh, you okay?"

"Yeah, totally. It's just a text," San said, forcing a laugh. "I'll just ignore it."

Unease continued settling in his chest like a stone. He tucked his phone away, but the thought of Jake lingered, gnawing at him. Wooyoung turned back to the screen, but San could sense a shift in the vibe, what had been relaxed yet filled with mutual sexual tension, had changed to a cool detachment.

As the movie continued, San tried to shake off the lingering cold feeling, leaning into Wooyoung again. But something was off; he could feel Wooyoung's tension, his muscles rigid under San's touch. "You sure you're alright?" San asked softly.

"Yeah, just... I don't know. It's a little weird, isn't it?" Wooyoung's voice was quiet, and San could see the hurt in his eyes. "He's texting you out of the blue?"

"Wooyoung, it was just a bad relationship," San said, trying to reassure him. "I haven't head from him in a while, He just sent a text. It didn't mean anything. You know that, right?"

"Do I?" Wooyoung challenged, his brow furrowing. "You're still in touch with him. Doesn't that mean something, do you miss him?"

San sighed, frustration bubbling up. "It means I'm trying to move on, and he's just trying to stir up old feelings. I no longer want to be with him, I'm here with you now, and that's where I want to be."

Wooyoung looked at him, the tension between them thick. "But are you really over it?"

The question hung in the air, heavy with unspoken feelings. San's heart raced as he struggled to find the right words. "I—"

Before he could finish, his phone buzzed again. Wooyoung glanced at it, and San felt his heart sink.

"Another text?" Wooyoung asked, his voice tinged with disappointment.

San didn't want to check, but he felt compelled to. He opened the message: "Come on, just one coffee. I promise it'll be fun."

He sighed and set the phone down, feeling the frustration bubble over. "I don't want to deal with this tonight. Can we just focus on us?"

Wooyoung's expression softened, but San could still see the hurt in his eyes. "I want that too, but it's hard when I know he's reaching out. It makes me wonder if you're really all in.

"Of course, I'm all in, Wooyoung, you are incredible!" San exclaimed, moving closer. He took Wooyoung's hand, grounding himself in the moment. "You are who I want to be with, this is where I want to be. I'm not going back to that, to him, ever."

Wooyoung looked at him, vulnerability flickering in his gaze. "I just want to feel secure. I don't want to be a rebound."

"You're not," San assured him. "You're so much more than that. He's the one trying to reopen the door. I'm truly not interested in him, only you."

After a moment, Wooyoung nodded, his expression softening. "Okay. Let's put it behind us for tonight."

"Please." San leaned in, capturing Wooyoung's lips in a gentle kiss, feeling the tension slowly dissipate. As they pulled away, the weight of the conversation lingered, but the connection between them reignited.

With a renewed sense of intimacy, they returned to the movie, but the playful atmosphere had shifted. They still cuddled closely, sharing soft kisses and gentle touches, but the earlier tension lingered in the background.

As the credits rolled, San turned to Wooyoung, his heart racing. "So, what do you want to do now?"

"Let's just... be together," Wooyoung replied, his eyes sparkling with warmth.

San grinned, feeling the warmth of Wooyoung's presence envelop him. The earlier angst faded, leaving behind the thrill of connection, and as they leaned in for another kiss, the outside challenges faded away.

Wooyoung's mouth was intoxicating, and San just wanted to stay in this bubble, kissing him forever. The challenges of ex's and the other issues in his life didn't matter as long as he was kissing Wooyoung.
