Background:

In a world ruled by dimension gates, survival was a never-ending war. These portals, mysterious and ancient, tore open reality, leading to realms beyond comprehension. Monsters of all shapes and powers roamed those alien lands, and humanity had only one way to fight back: they entered the gates, slew the beasts, and grew stronger in the process. But the cycle was merciless. Gates that closed were soon replaced by new ones, as though some unseen force was determined to keep the balance on the edge of chaos.

The gates held more than just monsters, though. Entire worlds thrived beyond them, worlds filled with species and races beyond imagination some hostile, others indifferent. Occasionally, powerful beings escaped the gates, infiltrating the human world, leaving destruction and terror in their wake. No one knew the true origin of these gates, not even the Saints, the most powerful warriors, or the Oracles, the wisest scholars. The world before the gates called the  Void Era  was a blank slate. All history had vanished Before one thousand years, leaving behind only scattered fragments of a forgotten time. No one knows what happened before One thousand years ago.

Despite the lack of answers, one truth was clear: the gates would keep appearing, and humanity would have to keep fighting, forever teetering on the edge of annihilation.

(Start of the story-  Introduction of our story's main character).

In this harsh reality, Dabi had always been out of place.

From birth, he was different. His body was weak, frail. While the other children trained from a young age to become adventurers, sharpening their skills and building their strength, Dabi could barely walk a mile without collapsing. He couldn’t swing a sword or even lift a shield. But his mind his mind was something else entirely.

Dabi had a photographic memory. Everything he read, every lesson he heard, was seared into his mind, never to be forgotten. While his peers trained their bodies, Dabi trained his mind, devouring books, learning languages, studying the lore of the gates and the monsters within. But in a world where physical strength was everything, Dabi’s brilliance only set him apart, a figure respected for his intellect but shunned for his weakness.

He was an outsider.

And while his knowledge grew, so did his isolation. His parents, both renowned adventurers, had entered a gate years ago and never returned. Government  officials told Dabi his parents are dead. It had been left to Dabi to care for his younger siblings, Eli  and Mira. He had tried to be strong for them, but the truth weighed heavily on him: without strength, he could never truly protect them. The only hope left was the Awakening Ceremony.

In this world, when one reached the age of 18, they were given a chance to awaken their true potential. Through the ceremony, they might receive magic, strength, different attributes, hidden talents or some other powerful ability that could elevate them beyond the limits of their natural body. Dabi had been counting down the days to his own ceremony, hoping praying that the gods had some extraordinary fate in store for him. Without it, he knew he would remain weak, helpless to safeguard the only family he had left.

The day arrived, and the entire town gathered for the ceremony. Dabi stood at the edge of the crowd, feeling the weight of hundreds of eyes on him. He could hear the whispers, the doubts. The frail boy with the sharp mind. No one expected anything from him. He had lived his entire life in the shadow of his parents’ legend, and now, it seemed, he would remain in that shadow forever.

As his name was called, Dabi’s heart pounded in his chest. He stepped forward, forcing his trembling hands to stay steady. The  Awakening Stone , a massive crystal glowing with raw, untamed energy, stood at the center of the square. This was it the moment that would decide his future. He knelt before the stone and placed his hand against its cool surface.

Instantly, the world around him vanished. His vision plunged into darkness. Time seemed to stretch endlessly, as if the universe itself had paused, holding its breath. And then, deep within him, something stirred—something powerful, something ancient. He could feel energy surging through his veins, setting his body on fire. A light just entered his body.

When his eyes snapped open, the familiar world had shifted. Dabi just hear a sound "Ding"  Before him floated a  glowing screen , displaying information in a language no one had ever seen before. Dabi can read everything and it's like some now information entered  Dabi's mind. As soon as he saw the floating  screen as it he knew what is dose and how It works. It was a  level-up system,  but not the one typically granted to adventurers. This one was unique only for dabi, something far more complex, far more powerful. Dabi's stats blinked on the screen:  Intelligence beyond human capacity,  Memory at an unparalleled level. His physical strength and agility and endurance remained low, but it didn’t matter. The system itself promised potential potential to surpass anything his world had seen.

He wasn’t strong yet. But now, with this power, Dabi had something more than strength. He had the ability to rewrite the rules.

For the first time in his life, Dabi felt hope rising within him. His frail body might have betrayed him for years, but this system would change everything. No longer would he watch from the sidelines. No longer would he live in fear. Now, he had the means to protect his siblings, to enter the gates himself, and to carve his place in the world.

This was only the beginning of his story, and the gates those mysterious, deadly portals had no idea what was coming.

The world had always feared what came out of the gates. Now, it would learn to fear what went in.

And Dabi, the boy once too weak to fight, would become a force that even the monsters would fear.
