a normal day

Sighing, Seungmin shook his head, when he heard his roommate's alarm go off for the tenth time this morning. Getting ready while an alarm rang every few minutes wasn't new to Seungmin, but it would always be annoying.

He didn't understand how Jisung managed to sleep through this shrill noise, as if he didn't hear it at all. Seungmin was convinced that Jisung wouldn't even wake up from a fire alarm and he hoped he would never find out if that's true.

"Han Jisung! Wake up!" He shook him, chuckling when Jisung only yawned and turned around to continue sleeping.

Seungmin rolled his eyes and decided to just give up. He was ready to leave to get to the same class Jisung had to attend this morning. But he was always late anyway.

"You're 21 and still can't wake up on time." Seungmin muttered, more to himself than to Jisung, who didn't hear him anyway. Then he walked out of their small dorm and out of the building into the fresh morning air.

Even though Seungmin was often annoyed by Jisung, he had to admit that he was glad to have him as his friend and roommate. Ever since their first year in this university, they had shared their room and they instantly became good friends, despite being so different.

They had simply gotten used to each other and their habits, which caused Jisung not to wake up when Seungmin would get ready early in the morning and Seungmin didn't have a problem falling asleep, when Jisung would work on assignments late at night.

Walking over the campus at such an early hour felt almost calming, since not many people were here. There were only a few students, who also got up early, that Seungmin saw most mornings, walking to their own classes.

There were also a few people sitting in a coffee shop and he walked past a few people, who were motivated enough to go running in the morning, but apart from that he didn't see many students.

When he arrived at the right building, he went inside and then he quickly walked to the room, where his first class of the day would be. He wasn't surprised to be the first one to enter the room and he walked down the stairs to sit in the first row.

Then he started working on an essay on his laptop, while he waited for the time to pass until the class would start. Seungmin had to admit that writing essays and finishing assignments wasn't very interesting, so he just stared at his screen for a while, his gaze wandering over the words he had already written.

He only looked up, when he door opened again and he already knew that it would be his professor. "Good morning, Seungmin." He greeted him in English, walking to the desk in the front and preparing for the lecture.

"Good morning, Professor Lee." Seungmin answered with a polite smile.

This also happened often. Seungmin was the first person and the second one was his professor. Then soon after the room would be filled with a few more students, until most of them were here. So it wasn't awkward when Seungmin typed on his laptop and Minho did the same.

Apart from occasional polite smiles they ignored each other and both pretended to be busy, so that the silence between them wouldn't be awkward.

Minho was a young professor, which had always surprised Seungmin. Most professors here were a lot older, but in Seungmin's opinion, Minho's classes were always interesting. It was probably because he wasn't that much older than him, just a few years. Maybe six?

Still, he wore suits most of the time, probably to appear more serious and he always seemed like a cold, yet kind person. Many students talked about him, either because they thought he was hot or because they thought he was scary. But he was pretty sure that the professor didn't even know that.
