best friends ?

When someone knocked on the door, Seungmin looked up from his phone with a confused expression. It was a Saturday, so he had gotten up a bit later than usually and he was surprised that someone was at the door now.

He got up from his bed and as soon as he opened the door, Hyunjin came inside and already hugged him tightly. "Hi." He said in a rather cheerful voice. "Lia already told me about the program."

"She did?" Seungmin asked, still confused because a few seconds ago he hadn't expected Hyunjin to be here now.

Hyunjin nodded and let go of his best friend to walk to his bed. "Ran into her yesterday evening. And I know that probably means you'll study even more and won't have any time for me." He pretended to cry and sat down.

Seungmin rolled his eyes and closed the door, before following Hyunjin to the bed. "You're so annoying. That's not even true." Hyunjin just had to raise a brow to make Seungmin sigh. "Only for a while until the exam is over."

A pout rested on Hyunjin's face now, that was so different from his happy expression only a minute ago. Then suddenly he seemed serious. "I'm proud of you though, you know? You might leave for two weeks to go to America on your own."

"Or Lia is going. We don't know yet." Seungmin reminded him, but he appreciated his words. Hyunjin never failed to remind him that he was proud of him.

Seungmin was still standing in front of the bed and leaned down, resting one of his hands under Hyunjin's chin. Their faces were way closer now, their breath mixing between their faces and Hyunjin's heartbeat sped up, when he realized what Seungmin was doing.

He pressed a short kiss onto Hyunjin's lips and even though the contact only lasted for a second, Hyunjin blushed. Of course Seungmin noticed that and he chuckled quietly, caressing his cheek with his thumb for a moment.

That contact didn't help Hyunjin at all and his cheeks burned even more, as he tried to avoid Seungmin's intense gaze. He knew that Seungmin would start teasing him about this again, the brunette just seemed to love doing that.

And he was right. "You're always blushing. Imagine you fall in love one day, will your whole face be red then?" Seungmin laughed, but Hyunjin knew he didn't mean this in a rude way.

So he just laughed along nervously. "Probably."

"At least it looks cute." Seungmin commented, shaking his head, before he grinned. "I have to study now though."

"Seriously?" Hyunjin let himself fall onto the bed completely, taking his shoes off and cuddling onto the mattress. "It's too early to study."

"I mean, what else should I do now?" He asked, already sitting down at the desk, that was right next to the bed. He really didn't know anything else he could do, that wouldn't mean he was wasting his time.

When he saw Hyunjin's smirk, his smile immediately dropped and he grabbed a pillow to hit Hyunjin with it. He knew what that look meant.

"No, Hyunjin. It's too early for that. And also I don't know when Jisung will be back."

"I was just joking!" He quickly said, so that Seungmin would stop hitting him with the pillow. It worked and then he looked at the other side of the room, only now noticing that Jisung really wasn't sleeping in his bed, like he usually did. "Where is he even?"

Seungmin shrugged. "Went to Felix's dorm last night and then texted me he'd sleep there."

"Again? How're they not together yet?"
