text me

Two days had passed, since Hyunjin had convinced Seungmin to take a break for one evening and even though Seungmin was still thankful that they had had such a great time and that he had actually been able to relax, now he was just as stressed as he had been before.

Maybe even more, since he had to catch up on the work he could have finished that evening.

"So do you have any more questions?" Seungmin asked the boy he was tutoring right now.

Jongho shook his head and Seungmin was relieved that they were finally finished. The whole time he had forced himself to smile and he had reminded himself that he was getting payed for this. Even though Jongho was a nice person and he understood things fast, Seungmin just needed some time to finish his own stuff now.

"See you next week." Jongho smiled and Seungmin waved, as he walked away from the table in the common room.

He sighed and just when he was about to rest his head on the table, to relax for just a minute, before he had to start studying, Lia walked into the room.

She spotted Seungmin immediately and walked over to him, hugging him happily, before sitting down next to him. "Hi, Seungminnie."

Her mood was just the complete opposite from Seungmin's, but he had to admit that it was definitely contagious and he already felt a bit better, seeing her so happy.

But he frowned, when he noticed that it was strange seeing her like that. Sure, she was happy most of the time, but this happy? And she definitely wore more perfume than usually.

"Hey, Lia." He answered, much less motivated than her and he observed her appearance closer.

Her nails were painted black today, she was wearing more makeup than normally, she wore clothes that he had never seen on her before and the most obvious thing was the bright, almost blinding smile resting on her face.

"You look beautiful." He said sceptically, still frowning, as he tried to find a reason for all of this.

She knew his words were genuine, not only because he usually didn't give her compliments, but also because she obviously knew how pretty she looked today. "Thank you." She answered, happy that Seungmin had noticed the effort she had put into her appearance today.

Seungmin was still trying to find out why she looked and acted like that. Was she trying to impress someone? But she would have told him if she was going on a date, right?

But then again, he remembered when she didn't want him to see who she was texting a few days ago. Was it the same person?

"You meeting someone later?" He asked carefully, when she opened a book to start studying.

Now she had to hold herself back from smiling even wider. How was that even possible? "Yeah."

Even though Seungmin had expected this answer, he kind of couldn't believe it. "Seriously?" And she hadn't planned on telling him?

"Yup." She already started reading the frist paragraph in a the book, as if she hadn't just told one of her best friends that she was meeting some special in a bit. As if this wasn't something to be excited about.

"Like a date?" Seungmin had to ask.

"mhm." She started taking notes, while reading.

Why was she only answering with one word? Why wasn't she telling him anything? She was doing this on purpose, wasn't she? Just to annoy him.
