I begrudgingly stood up from the comfort of my bed, picking up my glasses from the night stand I look at the name flashing screen.

"Who calls in the middle of the afternoon", I groned as I answered.

"You better tell me something meaningful that would grantee me not to murder you for interrupting my mid-day sleep", I said as I brush my hair out of my
face.

"Who sleeps mid-day",she asked clearly surprised.

"I do",

"Of course you do, hey I got some good news for you", she screamed and I was sure she was jumping right now for unknown happiness.

"Like I said, it better be meaningful or am gonna murder your with a sword",

"Enough with the murder talk, so you know how my company is hosting the whole party for the new CEO and gosh I met Levi, he is definitely became hotter, it's quiet cliche don't you think, like from the first look, his eyes got bigger than the last time I saw him an-",

"Get to the point before I grab my Katana", I said annoyed.

"Okay fine, he was talking abou hiring a new assistant and as the dedicated bestie I am I chose to take responsibility in bringing in new applicant, but if your not interested you can just go back to your 'mid-day sleep' I will just yang up",

"The fuck girl you could have said that at the beginning of the phone call", I said agitated.

"So the interview is tomorrow so we need to get you ready and out of those sweats and hoodie",

"Hold on let me keep my Katana away", I said placing the sword under my bed.

"You were not joking, you were gonna kill me with a sword",

"Well duh, you can be very annoying at times",

"Well it's my annoying ass that got you a job",

I stood up opening the curtains as light washes in.

Man the sun is bright

"So now let's meet up at my house and we can start discussing",

"Aren't you at a ball or something",

"Oh they won't know am missing, plus I can't be all over Levi just after his back, we give everything time little one", I rolled my eyes as I head for the shower.

"Whatever", I said and hanged up throwing the phone on the bed hoping it would not bounce and fall off causing me to buy a new one which I really could not afford.

I took a short shower and was now taming my forest of a hair. It's really quit a hussle but its all worth it. I tied I up in a bun and wore a black hoodie with matching sweats, black crocs and my purse. I locked up my apartment and ran down hailing a taxi.

I can't believe am actually going to get a job at a big time company.

'you have not gotten the job yet missy', my inner voice reminded.

Right, I still need to pass the interview whichever surely I will
