RHEA WATCHED THE ROAD as they drove down the wintery nature up the mountain to the ski lodge.
She drifted off not long after that.
"Rhe?"
"Rhea?"
Suddenly she was shaken awake.
Rhea's eyes shot open as she looked over at Hannah, she wore the same outfit that she wore the night she went missing, she smiled at her the way she used to and everything.
"H-Han?" Rhea sat up and hugged her.
They hugged for a minute before Hannah laughed, "you seem like you missed me for the half an hour I was gone."
"I..." Rhea looks around, "we're in the lodge."
She nods, "yeah, that's what our annual trip is at every year," she giggles.
She looked at her best friend, "you were... Where?"
"I was going to meet up with Mike," Hannah admits sheepishly.
Rhea settles her hands on her lap, "what happened?"
"You want me to recap the whole thing?" Hannah laughs.
Rhea realizes that this could either be her waking from a terrible nightmare or this is all just a dream...
"Girl, are you okay?" Han bumps her shoulder with hers.
"I... I miss you, Hannah..."
"You do, huh?" She laughs readjusting her glasses.
Rhea blinks tears away staring at her room around her, "why is that funny?"
"Because you never came to look for us."
She suddenly looks over to see Hannah with rotted skin and bones peaking out of places, she looks dead.
"Ha- Hann-"
She suddenly does a loud ear piercing scream.
Rhea fell back at the sound as she backed up in fear!
Hannah came running at her as Rhea screamed her name, "HANNAH!"
"HANNAH!"
"Rhea, Rhe? Babe?"
She was shaken awake as she jumped in her seat!
"Whoa," Matt said, "you okay?"
Emily who woke her looked concerned, "bad dream?"
"You could say that..." Rhea sat up straight clutching her chest a bit in panic.
"You said Hannah-"
Matt was cut off by a slap to the arm from Emily.
"Em, babe, it's okay," Rhea put out her hand stopping her best friend.
