Sathya and Arunima settled into their seats, eager to discuss the morning's events.
Arunima leaned in, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "How was that boy?"
Sathya raised an eyebrow. "Which boy?"
"Arun... Arun Nair," Arunima clarified.
Sathya's eyes sparkled. "He's cool."
Arunima nodded enthusiastically. "I knew he's cool."
Sathya teased, "Girl, do you have a crush on him?"
Arunima blushed. "I think so... His bold voice kicked my heart."
Sathya laughed, and Arunima chuckled.
Sathya's expression turned serious. "I heard Sidharth was on the ground when I came to class this morning, but Arun said he's absent today."
Arunima reassured her, "Maybe you heard wrong. It's sure Sidharth is absent today."
Sathya's face fell, disappointment etched on her features.
Arunima asked gently, "Are you missing him?"
Sathya hesitated before responding, "I think so."
Arunima's eyes locked onto Sathya's. "You like Sidharth, your behavior gave the evidence - you love him, one-sided."
Sathya's face glowed bright red.
Arunima chuckled at her blushing friend. "Now we're best friends, and our crushes are best friends."
They shared a soft, knowing laugh.
Just then, the teacher entered the classroom. "Settle down, students. Today we'll cover."
Sathya and Arunima exchanged a glance, their secrets shared.
