'I fill my lungs with ganja, when they fill my brain with drama, from my past I have all this trauma, getting cash, hope the racks solve my problems'

Aaliyah.

'He looks well depressed' I say to the girl beside me on the coach. There was a man standing outside the doors to the school, and when I tell yah he looked sad asf, I mean it.

'Bruh I almost wanna kill him, jsut to put him out of his misery.' She says, laughing.

I laugh with her, but of course, the laugh is only on the surface. In reality, she could mean it. I don't know what she did to end up her, but it certainly can't be worse than what I did.

Me and her get the coach, along with a couple other people. Then the coach pulls off. My stomach turns slightly as I remember my last interaction with my mum.

'GET THE FUCK OUT IF MY HOUSE!!' She screamed at me. All I want is her to love me. Is that too much?

'FINE! YOU NIGGA AINT NEVER SEEIN ME AGAIN!' I scream back. Prolly shouldn't have called her a nigga, but I was angry. I stormed up to my room, and called my auntie.

She's always had my back with everything. Even after she found out what I did...

She had mentioned a school for kids like me a couple days ago, and I brushed it off. She even said she'd pay for my enrolment.

'Wan yuh need baby?' She asks when she picks up

'Um... I uh... I don't know. I was thinking I could stay wit you for a while? Mum don't want me here anymore.' I say, half crying

'Of course darling, pull up tuh di yaad right now an mi a get yuh sorted' she reassured me

'Thank you so much!'

'Nuh worry, luv yuh pickney' and she hangs up.

So I pack a couple bags and head out the door

'WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING!?' My mum screams at me

'Dad sister house. Got a problem wit dat?' I say back.

She lets out a scream of frustration and storms out of the house, prolly to call my auntie.

I realise I should probably stop if at my parole officer crib and tell her to change my ankle monitor boundaries.

After a couple hours of trying to sort that out, I finally get to my auntie crib. She open the door and pulls me into an embrace.

I hope my momma understand one day. I did this all for her.

As me and this girl walk up to the doors, the man standing there immediately puts on a fake asf smile.

'Greetings students' he says in a tired voice.

I could immediately tell this school finna be the death of me.
