This happened to me recently, so I decided to make it in a poem 😭

In the glow of love, we fit like two,
The perfect couple, just me and you.
But fate took a turn, and I had to depart,
Leaving a void in my aching heart.
Months rolled by, and I returned once more,
In your warm embrace, I felt I could soar.
I cherished each moment, so grateful, so free,
Thankful you waited, so longing for me.
Yet happiness faded, like dusk into night
For secrets emerged, revealing the blight.
You played me for laughter, for joy, and for fun,
But not just for me—there was another, undone.
A boyfriend you had, while you spun your sweet lies,
Oh, why must you hurt me, beneath those kind eyes?
You were so tender, yet lost in the game,
And now I’m left with a heart full of pain.
In shadows of trust, where love once did bloom,
You danced with deception, you wove your own doom.
So here I stand, with memories to mend,
A love that was sweet, now a tale with no end.
