Milly's POV

"GOOO ANGELS!" I cheered. We threw our pom poms in the air, filling it with teal and white colors that make the crowd cheer louder. We cheered as the Eastside Angels scored the winning touchdown. "Oh my god we did so good!" Cheered my assistant captain Delilah. "I can't believe we won agai-" Delilah was cut off by the screams of the people in the stands. The ground started to shake as a hole in the middle of the felid opens up, people are running and screaming, football players running towards the stands as a sink hole opens up and consumes the ground above it. I see principal Myers rush the crowds and students too the front of the school, as i try to comfort my upset and scared friends. As the fire trucks and ambulances drove up, I noticed one of our football players twisted his ankle well trying to escape the sink hole and some parents are injured due too the panic and rush to get away from the sink hole. I'm worried for the players and the fact that the football player was my best friends boyfriend. Amy, one of the flyers due too how she thin she is, ran towards me and i wrapped my arms around her. "Hey, are you alright? I heard about Clark." Amy's grip tighten as she lets out a muffled sigh. "I hope he's okay, that earthquake scared me, especially when i saw Clark fall." Then Alan walked through the crowd, he is Amy's twin. He's tall, thin and has brown shaggy hair and olive eyes, similar too Amy's long, straight brown hair and more green eyes. Alan was the school nerd and Amy was more of a popular cheerleader. He adjusted his thick glasses and chuckled. "Are you sure you weren't just scared of being blown away from the winds, what are you like 75 pounds." Alan teased Amy. "Not now Al-" I say but Amy lets go of me and glares at him. "Its 110 and you know that." Though she's thin, Amy is also taller. Alan is around 5'11 and Amy is 5'7, just above average. Compared to my 5'0 ass. "Well i guess we won." Chimed in Poppy. A new cheerleader. She does amazing flips so that's the main reason we accepted her. She's 5'3, her warm Asian skin under her long bangs, her black hair in two pigtails with pink streaks and her cheer uniform all dirty from the commotion, she was clearly tripped during the stampede. "Yeah, we did. But at what cost." Said Amy. "My boyfriend just got injured." Poppy just sighed. "Yeah yeah that sucks, so did I but I ain't cryin." she says her, her southern accent slipping out. Poppy tries so hard to hide her southern accent because before she was born her dad was in Japan on a trip and meets her mom. Her dad stays longer and ends up impregnating her mother with Poppy. Then when Poppy was one, they immigrated too Texas to find Poppy's real father. Then when she was 3, her mother died and she got reunited with her father. Her father didn't care for Poppy and neglected her until she was 13 and found out she had a aunt that lives in Seattle and after reaching out her aunt flew her over and she now goes to my school, is popular, a cheerleader, lives happily with her aunt and is doing better. But sense she spent 12 years in Texas and only moved here 3 years ago. So she has a southern accent but tries masking it especially in front of her friends but just in general because it reminds her of her father and wants nothing to do with her.

(sorry for the long lore about a side character)

Delilah waves us over so we start walking towards her. "Hey guys, wanna head back too my place. I'm bringing the cheer squad over to take there mind off things." Poppy nods but Amy looks over at me. "Maybe not, Amy is really shaken up so I'm gonna drive her and her brother home." Delilah nods then looks confused. "Brother? Amy you have a brother?" Amy nods and Alan speaks up. "Yet that's me." He says and Delilah looks up, noticing him and a blush darkening against her tan skin, "Oh hey, would you like to come too the party." She suggests in a flirty tone. Alan doesn't seem too notice and shakes his head. "Nah, I'm gonna go home and sleep or something." Delilah nods disappointedly before walking away with Poppy and a few others. Then I take Amy's hand and walks her home, Alan trailing behind us.
