So everyday she thought about Bruce. She dreamt about him, talked, looked at the 1 picture she had of him. She tried everything but couldn't contact him. Months and months pass. Her love for him gets to the point where it's nonexistent. Then it becomes June. June is a very important month. Not just for summer but. It's the month she met Bruce. She would be visiting the same place where she met him. She got ready with anticipation to see him. She had waited 365 days, and now, it was time. She got there got set up and just walked and looked. She looked and looked with no luck for Bruce. She had luck in finding a friend though. She went to the beach one day and saw this guy. He was playing ninja. A game of speed and reaction. She loved it. She asked to join and he happily accepted. She played with him and 5 other guys. They all introduced themselves. But the guy who invited her, or rather let her join, was especially nice. She was the only female in the group but he comforted her with humor when she mentioned it. His name was Adam. After that day they did practically everything together. The third day Amanda gave him her number they texted and went to concerts and went walking throughout the woods. Then it was the last day. All of their fun would soon end. Her father was very touchy about her and Adam spending time together but she still liked it. The last day came and they met up at a pavilion. They walked to a concert got some food and went to the little shop. They went to a booth and got temporary tattoos. They both got the same one. They walked to a place Amanda had never been before. And she was feeling amazing. They had met each other's family, exchanged phone numbers, spent lots of time together, and most important they cared very deeply for each other. Amanda thought and she had said in her mind, "We might as well be a couple!" Then they walked past the booths and they got to a Ferris wheel. She had never been on one so she went on with him. She got a bit scared but not much. Ferris wheels are stereotypically a very romantic place to be. It was like static. They had an age conversation and he asked, "By the way, how old are you?" She replied, "I'm 13. How old are you?" He bent his head over. She was concerned. Did he think her age was a problem? Did he expect different? Was she too young? What was it? He lifted his head and said, "Well that probably explains why your dad doesn't like me. I'm 17 years old." She smiled but in her mind she was freaking out. She was practically dating an almost adult! They talked and talked on and on until the ride came to an end. They walked down to the the stage and set up some chairs. A band neither of them had heard of was on but then they started speaking. They said that women shouldn't let men disrespect them. And that men, should cherish a woman while she's still there. She looked at him and he turned and said, "I would cherish you, If you were mine." Then, she smiled and blushed. He said, "It's not like I'm lying! I would cherish you forever." It's like their minds connected because in that time, they both leaned in and his lips met hers. Music played cheering resumed then all of a sudden, she was just looking at him. He said, "Are you okay?" It never happened. The kiss, the line, the look, none of it happened. She said she was fine and they listened to music until the night ended. The walked and talked their way to the pavilion with laughs along the way. He said that he would miss her since it was only mid evening and her father called her back. She went and helped pack it all up then asked to go see one last concert with him. She was supposed to wait for her sister to get off work anyways but her father rejected. Then out of the blue Adam walks up. She smiles and greets him with a laugh. She knew this was the last time she would ever get to spend with him so they talked for about an hour until she had to leave. She made funny puns and jokes while he just made her feel loved. He said they would remember each other and text all the time. She agreed but sadly said goodbye, got in the car and drove away. She texted him all that she could. She talked to him anytime she had free but that slowly stopped because of what people thought. She didn't care but her parents asked her to limit contact. She quietly obeyed. Even though she didn't text him a lot she thought about him ALL the time. When she thought about Bruce however, it was a distant memory. Still she liked him too. She liked them both equally but Adam was recent, that was the only difference. Anytime she thought about them though, one question loomed in the void of her head, "If both show up and confess their love, which do I choose?"
