I used to have a crush on Rubin. They didn't tell us what hair color we had, so I assumed it was red. He was played by Rex Corley

Sorry his younger brother is in this one. Rubin is the tall one with the red shirt and overalls holding the dog. He still is cute. It's so sad what happened in the book. You can look it up because I don't want to scare anyone.

Well there was a part two in the 90s, where Rainie was grown up. He was played by Chad McQueen (yes he is the son of Steve McQueen) (Rest in peace to both of them)
