BillFord oneshots

Mortality.

(Sorry this is so short y'all!)

Bill had lived for a very long time, so when he was stripped of his powers and became human he was confused at the thought of actually dying, well aside from when Stanley punched the life out of him, that felt as close as he ever had to death. But now he actually could die if he wasn't too careful.

So there was Bill one night sitting on the couch with the pines brothers, they were all watching a cheesy romance movie, all of them sort of poking jokes at the actors.

After it ended Stanley got up, stretching and saying, "well I'm heading to bed, night you two" he ruffled Ford hair a little before heading upstairs to his room, Bill waved goodbye then looked over at Ford who was still sipping his drink, he then said, "the way they died in the end of that movie.. uh.. was it very realistic?" He asked, Ford than looked over toward Bill and said, "probably not, but I mean people die from all sorts of crazy things you know?" Bills hands fidgeted, "like what?"

"Oh anything! Allergic reactions, sicknesses, wild animals, falling, natural disasters, and of course natural causes, which is probably at this point what me and Stanley will die from." Ford responded, Bill then said, "W-Wait will I be able to find you again once you die? I'm sure I will" Ford then gave Bill a sad look and said, "oh Bill, no you'll never see me once I'm gone, that's just how mortality is, nobody lives forever." Bill then grabbed a hold of Fords shoulders and said, "no, I-I'll get my powers back and- and I can make you and Stanley immortal! Maybe- even that hillbilly too! Oh and the twins!" He was cut off by Ford kissing him, he blushed a little till Ford pulled away saying, "no.. Bill you can't, I wasn't supposed to be immortal, that's not what I want." He watched Bills eye tear up, he wiped it for him then said, "I'm ready to see my family and friends again.. I mean, I'm not dying anytime soon, maybe in the next 20 years, but when it's my time, I'll be okay Bill.."

Bill nodded and said, "okay.. but promise me when you die.. if you're reborn and remember me.. please try to find me again Fordsy.." Ford nodded and kissed Bills forehead, "now let's get you to bed." Bill was suddenly scooped up into Fords arms.

Bill gasped and said, "Hey! I can walk just fine IQ!" Ford smirked and said, "nah I don't think so~" he kissed Bills cheeks a bunch, then walked him up to his room, Bill blushed a little, he'd never fully made it official with Ford, but he felt comfortable with it like this.

Once they got up to the room Ford let Bill down, Bill stared up at Ford and said, "thanks sixer.." Ford smirked, "no problem" before ruffling his hair and walking out, "goodnight cipher" Bill smiled, "night pines."

Once Ford left, Bill laid in bed, now thinking about how Ford would die some day, he frowned and curled up, hugging himself, "I won't ever let him leave me.. I can't.. I-" he sniffled and teared up, "I need him.."

Bill mostly cried that night, thinking about how terrible it would be when that day would come.
