Chapter - 19 # Indigo League Finals

A/N : Peace  be upon to all of my readers. Here i am with another new chapter. Hope you will like it.

Intro

It was night time in Indigo Plateau.Ash and his friends are in the Indigo Plateau's registration center. The attendant instructs Ash to fish for a Magikarp to find out his next opponent, and he finds it is Ritchie hiroshi. Brock found the face familiar.

"I think i saw that guy somewhere  " Brock  said.

"Maybe you saw him here," Misty said,"He is an indigo league participant after all."

"No, i saw him somewhere before," Brock said.

"So you are my next opponent, " a voice was heard from behind.

They turned around to see Ritchie.

""Hi, I am Ritchie Hiroshi, " Ritchie said," Call me Ritchie. "

"Hello Ritchie,I am Ash ketchum from Pallet town," Ash said while.extending his hand.

"Nice to meet you," Richie said as he  shakes hand.

"Hey, i remember you," Brock said,"You had came to challenge my gym. "

"Huh? Gym Leader Brock? " Ritchie was surprised as he finally noticed others.

"You know him Brock? " Ash asked.

"Yes, He challenged me few days ago before you, " Brock said,"He used a Pikachu and a Charmander Against me."

"Oh! You remember." Ritchie nervously said.

"You used an fire type and an Electric type in a rock type gym!?" Misty was surprised.

"Hey, i used a flying type and an electric type in Brock's gym too," Ash said," And i won."

"You won? " Ritchie asked surprised.

"Yep," Ash said.

"Your case was different Ash," Brock said,"Your pokemon knew steel type moves. Ritchie's pokemon didn’t know any move that is effective against rock pokemon. "

"Hey, i did manage to defeat your Onix," Ritchie protested.

"By accident and sheer luck," Brock said as he turned to his friends," His Charmander was easily knocked out. Then he sent his Pikachu.  Pikachu's Thunderbolt started a small fire in the Gym and set off the sprinklers. The water makes Onix weak.By combining Pikachu's Electric attacks with the water, Ritchie was able to beat my Onix. But his Pikachu was easily knocked out by my Geodude."

"Well, that is now past," Ritchie was embarrassed, "I was a beginner then."

"So was Ash," Misty said,"Yet he did his research and taught his pokemon right moves."

"Yep. You could have taught you Charmander metal claw and Pikachu iron tail before coming to my gym," Brock said.

"Guys, please......" Ash tried to stop his friends.
