A/N: Peace be upon to all of my readers. Happy amoutshipping day.Welcome to another New chapter . So, in previous Chapter, we saw that Ash has become the indigo league winner. This episode will be the aftermath if that. Without wasting any time, let's get started.

Intro

Every seat in the Indigo League Conference stadium was filled right now. Some people were having to share two seats or were leaning against the railing since there was no room for them. It was absolutely crazy! The closing ceremony was beginning soon, and all trainers who participated would be recognized as well as the top four trainers who would receive their trophies.

As the trainers began filing into the center of the stadium, Misty,Brock and Delia were looking on eagerly for Ash . Everyone who participated in the tournament began to have their names listed on the large screen.

Seemingly every trainer passed through, and finally Ash and Gary emerged last. The two made their way to the trophy stand.
At the Trophy stand, Mr. Goodshow was standing with a tall man with black hair. Ash immediately recognise him. This is the Kanto Champion Drake.

Ash and Gary went to stand on their respective pedestals. Mr. Goodshow then stood up to the microphone and spoke into it.

"Ladies and gentleman, I want to thank you all for coming to the closing ceremony and celebrating! Of course, this ceremony wouldn't be complete without the amazing trainers who had the skill to beat all the gym leaders of Kanto to make it here! They deserve all the credit! Let's hear it for them, folks!" Mr. Goodshow cheered.

Another roar of applause came out. Ash smiled as he looked at everyone around. He knew his friends and family were up there, too, cheering him on.

"I would now like to recognize our Top 2 trainers for this year. They have each shown excellent strategies and battling skills and deserve the trophies we present to them," Mr. Goodshow said," First of all, I'd like to recognize our runner up is Gary Oak of Pallet Town. One can't be surprised he made it this far considering he's the grandson of Professor Oak ".

Gary let out a small sigh as he shook hands as the crowd roared in applause. Professor Oak clapped along with the others and let out a small sigh . Delia turned to the old man .

"I'm sure you wanted Gary to win, but I still think he did amazing," Delia told him.

"Yes. He sure did," Professor Oak muttered before he crossed his arms in thought. "Yet, he could do better."
