Y/N was going to show up WAY later than she had planned and it was all because she had to sneak out.

Earlier, when she had excitedly asked her Nana if she could head out for the late-night meet-up, the answer had been a firm, unmistakable "No."

Y/N wasn't the type to defy rules—she prided herself on being the good kid. But this felt different. This wasn't just some random get-together. It was her chance to meet people her age, to make friends in a new place, and to start her new job on the right foot. She couldn't miss out.

So, she waited.

Once Nana went to bed, Y/N carefully pulled off the classic move of stuffing pillows under her blanket, shaping them just enough to fool anyone who might peek in. It wasn't perfect, but it would buy her some time.

With that done, she cracked the window just slightly, making sure it wouldn't creak too loudly when she pushed it open to climb out.

Her heart pounded in her chest as she dropped down into the yard since it was a one story house, feeling like every sound was amplified in the quiet of the night.

The chilly air nipped at her exposed skin as she pulled her sweater closer around her. She took a deep breath and began walking down the road, the cool night breeze ruffling her hair.

With each step, her white shoes softly hitting the pavement, a nervous thrill crept up her spine.

She wasn't used to this—sneaking out, breaking rules—but something about tonight felt worth it. The nerves twisted in her stomach, but so did a bit of excitement.

She was finally getting a chance to be a part of something. To meet new people. Maybe, just maybe, she could finally make some friends here.

She looked up at the darkened sky as she walked, her breath visible in the cool night air, her mind running through what the night might hold. Hopefully it won't be a disaster. .

Y/N finally reached the back of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, her heart still racing from the sneaky trip over. She spotted a few cars lined up in the small parking lot behind the building, their windows fogged from the chilly night. A few dim lights flickered on the side of the building, casting long shadows across the pavement. She took a deep breath, the crisp night air cooling her nerves slightly before she stepped forward.

As soon as she rounded the corner, she saw Jeremy leaning against his car, waiting. His face lit up when he noticed her, his grin friendly and welcoming.

"Y/N! You made it!" Jeremy said, pushing himself off the car and walking toward her. His voice was casual, but there was an underlying tone of relief that she'd actually come. He looked comfortable in his loose red jacket and jeans, his hands stuffed in his pockets to keep warm.

Y/N smiled back, though her nerves were still there. "Yeah, I couldn't miss it."

"Good! Let me introduce you to everyone," Jeremy said, gesturing for her to follow him.

She glanced around and noticed a small group of people already gathered near the back door of the pizzeria. They were casually chatting amongst themselves, their voices low but lively, accompanied by the occasional bursts of laughter. The soft glow from the nearby streetlamp barely reached them, but enough to catch the outlines of their faces.

First was CJ, a ginger girl with a smirk that screamed confidence. Her hair was wild and curly, a messy bun barely keeping it tamed. She wore a worn leather jacket, sleeves rolled up to her elbows, showing off an armful of colorful bracelets and tattoos. CJ glanced at Y/N with a playful grin, eyes gleaming in the dim light. "So you're the newbie, huh? Jeremy said you'd show." Her tone was light, teasing.
