The Little Mermaid

A/N Sure, the title's boring, well, I had state testing today and it took all my brain power, so, blame the boring title on school.

POV Nico

I strolled next to Will, listening attentively to his chatter. "So, I was thinking we could just watch movies all day, if that's okay with you?" Will asked, with pleading eyes.

I sighed and shrugged my shoulders, "Wasn't planning on doing much else today, sure, why not?"

Will pumped his fist in the air, whispering, "Yes!"

I chuckled and kept walking along, beside Will. We reached the Apollo cabin, Will bounded through the door, me dragging my feet, nearly tripping on the door-frame. I stumbled into the cabin and flopped down next to Will on what I assumed was his bunk. There was a flat-screen TV with a blue-ray player hooked up to it. Blue-ray and DVD's were the only thing we could use, because it didn't attract monsters.

Will picked up the remote and pressed play on "The Little Mermaid". About halfway through the movie my eyelids got heavier and heavier, soon closing and I fell asleep, next to Will.

POV Will

Halfway through the movie Nico fell asleep, his head fell into my lap and his breathing steadied as he fell into a deeper and deeper sleep. I knew he had been needing more sleep. That's part of why I suggested the movie day, it had little to none moving around, meaning Nico could rest, and with ADHD it's hard to focus on one thing for over an hour, so I basically knew he would either try to leave, or fall asleep.

Nico was so cute when he slept, I watched as his chest slowly rose with each breath, soon my breathing was in time with his, and I too, fell asleep.

When I woke the sun was setting, which meant I slept through the whole day. I sat up and glanced down at a still sleeping Nico, only when he did shiver and his teeth began chattering, did I look back down at him. I knew Nico was pale, but I had never seen him this pale, and there was sweat glistening on his brow. I shook Nico slightly to wake him. "Nico? Are you feeling all right?"

Nico's eyes fluttered open and he turned to his side, clutching his stomach, and groaning. Nico curled up into a ball and mumbled, "I'm fine."

"I'll take that as a no. Come on, let's go, we're going to the infirmary now."

"I said i'm fine, Will." Nico complained, but I wouldn't take that for an answer, so I stood up and gathered Nico up in my arms and began carrying him to the infirmary.

When I reached the familiar structure of the infirmary, I strolled through the door, a half-awake Nico still in my arms, I set him down on a close bed. I put the back of my hand against his forehead, and he tried to slap it off, but I wouldn't let that happen. "Geez death boy, you're burning up."

Nico's chapped lips quivered and his teeth continued chattering as he held himself tightly in a ball. "That's funny, because i'm really cold." I quickly got up and rushed to grab him a blanket, I draped it over his shoulders. "Th-thanks." He stuttered. 

I enveloped him in a hug, aware that children of Apollo were unnaturally warm.  "It's just a fever, it should subside in a day or two, and hey, you got me, so that's a plus." I said, trying to lift Nico's spirits, he gave me a faint smile, but that was enough for me.

A/N I literally fell asleep halfway through writing/typing this chapter. I'mma go to bed now, it's already 10:00 pm. Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
