As they left the restaurant, the city streets bustling around them, Yuri felt the weight of his own thoughts pressing in. The twins chatted casually on either side of him, but his mind was elsewhere, circling back to Blake’s visit and the way the twins had called him their lover so easily, so publicly.

The word lingered in his mind, stirring up emotions he hadn’t fully addressed. Was that what this was? Were they truly lovers, or was it just another game to the twins? He needed to know, once and for all, where he stood with them.

As they strolled down a quieter street, Yuri slowed his pace. “Rome, Remy...” he began, his voice hesitant but firm enough to catch their attention.

Both of them turned to him, their expressions curious.

“What we have… this situation between us,” Yuri continued, glancing between them. “Is it real? I mean, am I really your lover?” His voice softened as he added, “Because I think… I love you both.”

The twins stopped, their eyes softening as they exchanged a glance. Then, in a rare moment of sincerity, they turned their full attention to Yuri.

Remy was the first to speak, stepping closer and resting a hand on Yuri’s chest. “You are our lover, Yuri. That’s not a game. We meant what we said.”

Rome joined in, standing on the other side of Yuri, their gaze unwavering. “We’ve never been this close to anyone before. It’s not something we take lightly.”

Yuri searched their faces for any hint of dishonesty, but all he saw was that intense, consuming affection that had pulled him into their orbit from the beginning.

Remy’s hand slid up to Yuri’s cheek, their thumb brushing his skin. “We love you, Yuri. You’re not just someone to pass the time with. You’re ours.”

Rome leaned in, their voice low and intimate. “And we’re yours. That’s what it means to be our lover. You’re part of us now.”

Yuri’s heart pounded in his chest, the words sinking in, wrapping around his already confused emotions. He’d felt something dark and possessive stirring in him lately, but now it was mingled with the strange comfort of knowing the twins really did feel the same way. They weren’t just playing with him—or at least, if they were, they were caught up in their own game just as much as he was.

He nodded slowly, his breath a little unsteady. “I needed to hear that.”

The twins smiled, both of them leaning in, their presence as overwhelming and addictive as ever, adoring him with small, playful but sweet kisses.

“You never have to question that, Yuri,” Rome whispered. “You’re ours, now and always.”

Yuri let out a slow breath, the knot in his chest loosening slightly, though he couldn’t shake the sense that things were far more complicated than the words they exchanged. Still, for now, it was enough. The twins had spoken, and he believed them.

As they continued walking down the street, the twins’ arms draped around Yuri, they passed a small street vendor selling handcrafted jewelry. The twins exchanged a look, and without a word, they veered toward the stall, dragging Yuri along.

"See anything you like?" Remy asked, his voice teasing as he picked up a delicate bracelet, inspecting it.

Rome smiled, eyes flicking between the various pieces. “We should get him something.”

Yuri couldn’t help but smile. He wasn’t sure why they loved showering him with gifts, but he didn’t mind. The way they spoiled him only deepened that strange bond between them.
