Zee's POV.

I read my book as I held Nhu's hand tightly. Soon there was a knock on the door making me lift my head up from my book. The door slide open revealing Khun Neung and her fiancee , Nong Neung.

"Aow , you both are here .." I said , greeting them as they smile.

"Yeah , me and Ar Neung wanted to see Nhu .." said Nong Neung as the both of them walked closer to Nhu.

"Sorry if we came without telling .." said Khun Neung making me chuckle.

"Don't worry , there's nothing to be sorry about , Nhu would be happy to know that his family came to see him .." I said making her smile before looking down to Nhu.

"P'New .. me and Ar Neung is here na .." said Nong Neung as she talked to Nhu. Khun Neung then grabbed Nhu's hand , holding it as she smiled softly.

"Nhu .. Ar miss you Nhu na ... you were supposed to follow Ar pick out her wedding dress .. but don't worry na , once you are awake , I'll show you which dress Neung picked out for me .." Said Khun Neung as I smile , looking at Nhu.

- later -

"How is everything hm ?" Asked Khun Neung as I smile weakly.

"It's been tough .. without Nhu .." I answered making her nod.

"I heard the song that Nhu wrote for you ... it made me miss his presence more than usual .." she said.

"It's me and Neung's favourite song .." she continued making me smile.

"I miss him a lot .." she said before looking at where Nhu and Neung is. I did the same , seeing Nong Neung talking to Nhu as she massaged his hand.

"Neung has been asking whether Nhu is awake .. it's hard to tell her that he isn't .." she said.

"It's hard to tell people that Nhu is still in a coma .." I said softly.

"I just miss him alot .." I said making her place her hand on my shoulder , giving it a reassuring squeeze making me turn to her. She smile reassuringly as I placed my hand that was on my shoulder as a sign of 'thank you for being here.'

- later -

I was left all alone once Khun Neung and Nong Neung left. I stood beside the bed , fixing the blanket. I then held Nhu's hand tightly , massaging it gently before looking at him.

"You've been sleeping too long now na .." I said , smiling weakly.

"Wake up already .." I pout.

"Hia misses you ... alot .." I continue before leaning down to place a kiss on his forehead. I caress his head softly before sitting down next to him on the edge of the bed. I kiss his knuckles , placing his hand against my cheek.

- next day -

I sigh , frowning as I slowly lifted my head up , realising I fell asleep. I turn my head to see Nhu the same. I grabbed my phone seeing a missed call and text message from Max. I clicked on it , rubbing my eyes gently.

I looked at Nhu before getting up , making sure the blanket was covering him properly.

"Good morning na baby .. please wake up soon hm , I'll be right back ..." I said , caressing his cheek before walking around the bed. I turn back to him before walking out of the room. I slide the door closed before walking off.

- later -

"Me and P'Max brought you extra clothes .." said Nong Nat as he hand me a bag making me smile.

"Thank you na .." I said.

"You're staying here like it's your second home .." said Max making me chuckle as I took a sip of my coffee.

"This place is like my house now .." I joked.

"Is it because Nhu is here hm ?" Asked Nat making me smile , nodding.

"I want to be the first person Nhu sees when he wakes up .." I said.

"We understand Zee , just that you have to take care of yourself too .. you are here everyday ..even after working the whole day , you come here straight .." said Max.

"Er , I know , we are you both nagging so much today hm ?" I asked.

"Oh , I thought you both had work today .." I said.

"We wanted to see you and Nhu today , so thats why we are here early .." said Nat making me chuckle. All of a sudden my phone started buzzing making me frown , fishing my phone out of my pocket. I froze seeing the name on my screen.

"Zee , what's wrong ?" Asked Nat as I slowly look at them.

"Someone is trying to call me from Nhu's phone .." I said , looking at the screen.

"Huh ? Where is Nhu's phone ?" Asked Max.

"I left upstairs , on the table next to Nhu's bed." I said.

"Maybe it could be Nhu's parents upstairs .." said Nat as I then answered the call. I placed the phone next to my ear.

"Hello .." I said not hearing anyone.

"Hello .." I said even more loudly and I soon heard a cough at the end of the line.

"Hia ..." I froze hearing a familiar voice. I breathed shakily as Max and Nat looked at me confused. I blinked a couple of times , gulping my saliva.

"Nhu .." I said softly before getting up. I then started running to the lift.

"Zee ! Where are you going ?!" Asked Max but I ignored him , running to the lift. I pressed the button impatiently. I groan before running towards the stairs. I ran up the stairs , not caring about anything. I continued running till the 6th floor where Nhu's room was.

I push the door open , breathing hard before running towards Nhu's room. I stopped in front of Nhu's room , sliding the door open revealing Nhu who was awake.

"Hia .." he croaked as I breathed hard , freezing in my spot.

"Aren't you going to hug me ? .." he asked.

"I don't have any strength left .." he continued , smiling weakly. I slowly walked towards him , lifting my hand up as he slowly tried sitting up , squinting in pain. I held his nape , sitting on the edge of the bed. I cupped his cheeks , not believing anything.

"Nhu .." I said shakily , scanning his features making him hold my hand that was against his cheek. I then breathed out shaking , pulling him to my embrace. I hugged him tightly yet gently , caressing the back of his head as tears rolled down my cheeks.

I pulled away slightly , still holding him close , looking at him as tears stream down my cheeks. He smile weakly making me kiss his forehead lovingly.

"I've woken up already na .." he said softly as I cupped his cheeks, caressing it gently.

"Don't leave Hia again na .." I said softly in the midst of my tears making him nod. I kissed his forehead again before pulling him to my embrace. I hide my face on the crook of his neck , hugging him tightly.
