Third Person's POV:

Both Han Sooyoung and Lee sookyoung entered the meeting room, seeing all the chaos made by everyone there .

Kim dokja's pov:

When I was having quite an argument with Lee jihye. I was interrupted with the opening of the door revealing the heads .

Mother and Han Sooyoung were looking at us. Mother was squinting her eyes in anger. "What are you all doing ? Shouldn't you all be settled by the time we reach here, instead of fighting like kids. You all are grown adults", My mother said with dark aura lingering around her.

We all flinched in horror, bowed at her apologizing and swiftly made our ways to our respective seats. There was an uncomfortable silence in the meeting room.

My mother glared at me and I looked down at my hands, not knowing where to look . Her stare is suffocating, it's like getting pressed by large chunks of rocks. It was always difficult for me to look into her eyes, they scare me somehow. Like they know every secret of mine, that I've hid them so far.

Han Sooyoung pulled the chair for my mother to sit on and then proceeds to put all the documents on the table, giving a photocopy to each person.

"As you know, we are here to discuss about the 2 year-old case", mother said while signalling Han Sooyoung to start. "From whatever info I was able to retrieve. I found that there are many loopholes in it . If you all remembered the footage I showed you all last time, we all thought there was one kid kidnapped but looking around the area and the nearby cities we were able to find same people wearing black suits with some other kids following them. On getting into deep investigation, all the kids in those footage were kids, who went missing 4 years back", Han Sooyoung said changing the slide on the screen.

"Aren't those kid declared dead by the old investigation team working on their case?" Hyunsung asked her. "Yes, they were." She answered back to him. "Then how old is that footage?" Lee jihye asked finally getting some courage to speak as she's normally scared of my mother. "They are 3 year old footage", she said while zooming the slide on the date and time of the videos.

"But, according to my knowledge that case was closed way earlier than that footage because of no lead and a mishsppening that happened during the investigation", Yoo Junghyuk said. It was his first time entering in these discussions, I thought he would normally just listen it off instead of entering in discussions. But it isn't that important ( even tho I'm secretly impressed by his good understanding as an android).

"It's true and that's making it even more confusing. I tried to cross checking the dates for any mistakes, but no, all the founded info is correct" she said as she sighed lightly.

We all were quite taken aback by the new discovery. I knew it something was weird when she showed us that footage yesterday of that boy being dragged by that man and like how that lady couldn't even recognise her own kid's body and now these missing kids recurrence out of blue.

I don't think there has been any kind of misunderstanding by that lady in identifying the body, unless they both are two different cases that got attached somehow with the same culprit or organisation.

I immediately remembered that I asked her a question in yesterday's meeting but didn't got her answer. I looked at her direction and took a deep breath to finally open my mouth, "What about the lady? Where is she now? Shouldn't she be the leading clue in this case, for now?". I asked her while making my point.

She looked at me for a moment and then said, "Well indeed, she's the main victim from the previous case.....but", she stopped for a while and massaged her forehead ."but what? Did you interrogate her? Were you able to find something?", Yoo Sangah asked in hope to make her complete her own sentence.

She looked at her and finally replied,"That's the thing, We weren't able to recover anything. As she died two months ago. We asked the authorities who were taking care of her, said that her condition was getting worse because of the mental trauma she got back at that time and finally she couldn't take it. She took her own life by jumping from her own apartment's balcony."

This doesn't make any sense. Why would she kill herself. I know a mother's heart is too senstive and she must be in a great set back from such an awful accident. But Yoo Sangah did tell me that she is getting better. Then what happened now? What made her do such a thing? These questions were bothering me.

"What?....Last time when I went to check on her after her discharge from hospital, she was completely fine. It wasn't like something she would do. What happened?" Yoo Sangah asked her with concern.

Han Sooyoung sighed," We don't know properly, yet. But our first task should be gathering more info and clues related to this case, first." Han Sooyoung stepped back and waited for my mother to say. Everyone was looking at her direction. I, myself was curious what she is going to say.

"Thank you for explaining them, Miss Han  Sooyoung", she said. "I've been monitoring everyone's progress, lately and have concluded that you all should be formed into a pair for better yield in this case. As you all have seen or listened, it's too complicated." She said while getting up from her chair. "We need proper evidence to lead ourselves further in this investigation! That's why, Lee jihye and Hyunsung will be doing their investigation in north and east of city W", She said while looking over at them."Head officer Han Sooyoung and Yoo Sangah will be conducting their search in west and south of city M and....Kim dokja and Yoo Junghyuk will take over middle of the city W, where we found the latest footage of those people." She looked over at us with serious eyes,"I hope you both will perform this task well as its a bit risky entering that region not knowing the conditions over there. I want proper reporting from both of you and don't me"

We both immediately nodded at her in full attention. Others also nodded back. "Good" she just said that and left the room. We all were able to relax a bit, even the head officer, herself seemed relieved getting out of this tensed atmosphere.

I'm just worried, if I'll be able to work with him properly. Looks like stressed days are coming back. I sighed as I looked towards him.
