FLASHBACK

A person was standing in the dark, wearing a long coat and smoking . That street was dimly lighted and felt abandoned in chilly night. The man took out his phone and checked the time, currently 2:34 am. He groaned in irritation and put his phone back into the pocket.

A car went by the street and stopped. The glass window of the car rolled down and a hand got out of it, signalling the guy over there, to come near.

"Took you f*cking long to come here" Said as he dropped his cigarette down, crushing it with his shoe. "Talk about main business", demanded the man inside the car. " Tch, you are no fun. Here take it, whatever you want is inside it. But, why do you even need it? This is the weirdest sh!t I was asked to get, hm?" Said the man bending to get the clear view of the guy inside, who is of course, is covering his face with a weird mask.

"Mind your own business" He said as the windows rolled up and the car drove away, leaving him alone there. "What a cheeky a$$hole" He said as he descended into the darkness of the poorly lit streets.

*AT PRESENT*

Kim dokja's pov:

I entered the room, Lee seolhwa opened for us. After entering into it, I could see various equipments. That I probably wouldn't have seen in my whole life. I was looking around the place which looks like it straight came out of a sci-fi novel.

"This is my research room, I normally do my work here. Mr. Dokja you could sit here, on this chair and can wait until I and the others follow our respective protocols", she said as she took Yoo Junghyuk with her.

I sat down quietly and starting looking around the room more nicely. It's well maintained and it smells nice. The room is full of books mainly related to anatomy and equipments that I mentioned before entering inside, she might be using them for her research.

I stood up from my chair and took out a book from her shelf ( I know, I shouldn't touch other people's stuff but you know my first name is 'problem'). It's full of pictures of different body parts and stuff, I couldn't understand a thing, except the basics (of course, I didn't major in this).

I closed the book, but something fell out of it. I picked it up, it's an envelope that looks quite old from the covering or might be, to make it look aesthetic and there, curiosity got me like a meteor falling on earth. I can take a little peek inside, can't I? But before I could open it, I heard footsteps and without thinking my reflexes acted up.

I swiftly put the envelope into the book , closed it, put it back where it belonged and made my way to my seat like a cat and finally......the door opened revealing Seo-........wait it's not seolhwa? It's a man with exact white hairs as her.

The man looked shocked and a hint of anger and confusion came into his voice like he was expecting someone else, "Who are you!? How did you got inside in this restricted area!?!?". He could have said the same while lowering his voice a bit.

I stood up from my chair, fixed my coat and took out my ID card and showed it to him, " I'm kim dokja from X police department. I came here to get an update for my Android, YJH1864". He looked confused but before he could speak, he was interrupted by someone else's voice.

"What are you two doing?" Seolhwa said from behind the white haired guy. "Ah! Noona, who is he? What is he doing in your office?". Wait..Noona? They both are siblings? And also I just told why I came here, did he ignored me while I was saying!? What a brat!

" Oh he? He's Mr. Dokja, the one, who was assigned to take care of this guy" She said while smilling and pointing at Yoo Junghyuk. "Oh, that 'only child' guy?" He said annoyingly, while doing those little hand gestures. I got extremely irritated by this guy, what does he thinks of himself !? But I regained my composure.

"Namwoon don't call him that! He's older than you!" She said while pulling his ears. I really appreciate her for doing this. "Ow! Ow! Sorry noona! Please let me go! I'm not a little kid anymore" He said while pleading to her and she lets him go. "Then, don't act like one" She said to him, who was rubbing his ears and nodding.

"My apologies Mr. Dokja, you have to see a sibling fight here" She says while bowing her head. "Ah! No! No! No! It's quite normal for siblings, working in the same place to fight plus I think you both have quite a good relationship" I said clearing the tensed atmosphere. "Then, I'm glad. Also, the update is already done you are free to take him with you and if you don't mind....um...well....." she says while rubbing back of her neck "Could you give me your no.?".

"Huh?" "WHAT!?" Me and his brother couldn't process what she said. " Oh! It's not in that way! Not like that! Sorry for making you uncomfortable, I just need updates on his behaviour . I'm just worried for him" she said while trying to act less embarrassed. "Oh, it's alright. Wait a second, let me write it on the paper" I said while taking out a piece of paper from my pocket and writing my no. on it. "Here!" I handed it to her, who gladly took it. "Thank you Mr. Dokja, it means a lot to me". I just smiled and nodded at her.

"Well, listening to you all talking is kinda boring that's why I'm heading out first" he said while shrugging his shoulders. "Yeah, you should go I'll be coming behind you after few minutes" she said while patting him. "Hm, bye noona, bye....uh..hyung.." he said while exiting the door with her.

But something didn't felt right in his gaze as he was looking at me only . It felt like a stare, no, like a glare to be specific. Ngl I was quite taken aback by it, what I mean is that I didn't even cause any problems for that guy. What I did was, just chilling (looking around) in his sister's research room.

I don't know maybe I'm just overthinking. I just sighed. "Mr. Dokja , you're free to take him with you. Please do notify me, if there are any changes you've seen in his working", she said as soon she came inside. " Sure" And this is all i said.

*Time Skip*

We both got out of that building and headed towards our car to finally call it a day.

"Hey? Do you feel any changes in your system, you've been awfully quite all the time, hm? " I asked while putting that damn seatbelt, they are f*cking stuck augh!! I silently groaned, that he noticed. "I was, actually checking for new updates in my system plus rebooting the old data. But you know? You're kinda too talkative around other people than me" He said while coming closer to me. I flinched, why is he coming closer all of a sudden!?

I tightly closed my eyes and was ready to give him a punch to stay away from me but instead I heard a click noise. I opened my eyes slowly and saw that he just helped me with my seat belt.

Oh........what was I even thinking, like what was I was even expecting!? He's an Android!? Of course he doesn't know normal human behaviour, but he did caught me off gaurd. I was fully red like tomato (i hate them) from embarassment.

"Your heart beat is quite fast all of a sudden. Do you have fever, even your face is red" He said while placing his hand on my forehead. His hands are kinda warm and comfortable. "I don't feel any rise in temperature of your body. Should I take you to hospital? " I suddenly came back to reality " I'm alright! L-let's just go back home. I'm little sleepy that's all! " I said while hiding my embarassment.

He lightly chuckled, "alright".

I'm really sorry for updating it after two weeks. But ngl, these two weeks have been kinda exhausting and chaotic.

Also, totally new characters will be introduced in the upcoming chapters. So, stay tuned!
