The costal air fills the slayer's experienced lungs as the sand splashes out under hurried feet, the shoreside water threatening to wash away the light tracks in the sand they're in pursuit of.

"Can't you go any faster?" Chika sighs, idly tapping a finger against Yukiharu's back as he continues to carry her over her shoulder.

"Well I can, but you just ate a lot so I don't think that'd be a good idea" He responds adjusting his grip on her waist.

"Ha! Please, I'm a noble, we don't simply..."throws up" like you peasants do" she cockily smirks, giggling to herself at even the idea of doing something so vulgar.

"Oh, really?" He arches an eyebrow, a bit surprised at this revelation, "Well why didn't you say that sooner?!" He smiles and picks up his running speed, sanding kicking up behind him and almost smacking her in the face.

"WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! You're shaking me too mu-" Chika quickly covers her mouth, resisting the bodily urge to puke down his back.

Unable to hear her from focusing on running, Yukiharu races the waves as gulls flock around the city behind him; ocean scavengers ready to pick at their next meal. Nearing the rocky mounds at the end of the beach, the tracks enter inside the entrance to a mound in the sand. Skidding to a stop, Yukiharu sets Chika down and walks over to inspect the entrance.

"This must be it! Bit bigger than I imagined" Yukiharu sticks his head into the entrance, looking down the long downward tunnel.

Chika rushes to the ocean, keeling over and puking into the water. Once finished, she shudders and wipes her mouth with a bit of sea water, dragging her way back to Yukiharu's side and looking into the engrave as well.

"Ugh...Let's just go in already..." she groans to herself.

"Go in?! Alright!" Yukiharu excitedly grabs her wrist and jumps down the winding tunnel.

"WAIT WE NEED A PLAN-" her cries are left unheard as she starts sliding down the tunnel behind him, face first in sand as they eventually slide down right in the middle of a pocket.

As the sand settles around them, Chika pushes herself up from the sand alongside him and looks up with an angry glare.

"You...how DARE you treat nobility like this?!" She roughly pokes a finger into his chest.

"Chika-" she swiftly cuts him off.

"Don't call me by my first name so casually! You...You've done nothing but make a fool of me! Typical commoner!" She shouts, her face and angry red and her cheeks puffed out.

"Chika look-" he's once again cut off.

"I SAID DON'T CALL ME THAT! We're entering a demon den! Why would we not make a plan?! Who knows how strong the main one is! I just met you and I'm already sick of, literally, being dragged into your reckless ways!" She deeply breathes, catching her breath as she angrily crosses her arms.

Yukiharu just simply puts a hand on her head and turns it, making her look around the room at the multitude of scorpions now slowly rising awake from the sand. Her face immediately drops and creaks her head back to look at him, now also a bit embarrassed.
