Nightmare

Screaming
Crying
Thrashing

Vile,
Evil,
Repulsive

Creatures
That creep
Into dreams

Turning and
Mutilating them
Into

Nightmares,
Thoughts that run,
Monsters chasing after

A normal dream,
Changed by fear
And loneliness

I wonder,
Are you your own
Worst nightmare,

You know what you
Fear, what makes you cry
To your mama

Nightmares
Instill that,
Slowly taking

Over your mind,
Taking a once normal
Dream into nightmare
