– Come on, my love. Enjoy the day a little! Try to take your mind off what happened...
– I'm trying, dad. It's just... it's hard. I loved Wilder, I don't know what I'm going to do without him! – she replied, starting to tear up. – He was the best dog I ever had, he was my best friend! – the girl crossed her arms and lowered her head, crying.
– Deary, – he took one of his daughter's hands, waiting for her to lift her head before speaking again – it's going to be okay, he's in a better place now – a comforting smile appeared on his face. – Well, how about playing a little while you wait for the pizza to get here? You can buy as many tokens as you want.
– Really? – soon she began to smile.
– Of course. I'll call you when the pizza arrives, okay? And Susie, – the man said, seeing that she was already going to one of the games – I love you.Susie then approached once more and gave her father a tight hug, also giving him a kiss on the cheek and then heading to the arcade. After purchasing some tokens, she walked over to a maze game and started playing it, finally managing to get her mind off that memory.
Time passed, leaving Susie alone with her thoughts. Even though the game had really distracted her in the beginning, now that didn't work anymore. She was already lost in the memory of seeing her beloved dog run over in the middle of the street, with tire marks and blood on the road. Without realizing it, the girl began to cry silently, but as soon as she realized it, she tried hard to contain her tears, although she couldn't.– Why are you crying, child? – a yellow rabbit, which Susie already knew well as an old mascot of the pizzeria, approached, placing his hands on her shoulders.
– AH! – she screamed. – Oh – Susie stared into the rabbit's eyes and then looked back at the game. – I miss my dog. I didn't want to lose him.
– Well... I can help you much more than this little game, you just need to follow me – said the tallest one, with a grin so large it was visible even through the small gaps in the costume's teeth.
– I don't know if I should trust you. I don't know who's inside that bunny costume.
– Smarter than I thought, huh? Well, what I said remains a fact, and I don't think you have any reason not to trust me. After all, if I work with children, I'm trustworthy enough, am I not?Without thinking, the little girl turned her attention to the elder and nodded, soon following him, without even warning her beloved father first.
A few minutes passed and they arrived in a restricted room, for employees only. It didn't occur to Susie to question the unusual choice, even though it was clear she shouldn't be there. Even so, she was still curious to know about the room, since the girl had never been there.– Where are we?
Ignoring the youngster's question, the sadistic entity removed his gloves and brought his hand closer to a table, quickly grabbing the handle of a knife. The man threw her to the ground before she even had time to ration anything, then placed his free hand over her mouth, preventing her from screaming.
– HMM! HM!
Writhing like a gazelle in the claws of a ravenous lion, the little girl struggled to escape, but her attempts were in vain. The man's thick hand muffled any cry for help that came out of Susie's mouth and his large body prevented her from escaping.
Even though she was aware that she was just wasting energy, Susie continued to try to push the "lion" with her legs, still unable to make a difference. Soon she stopped wriggling, then just bit the man's hand.– ARGH! Son of a...
Before Susie could do anything else, the older man grabbed her by the jaw.
– Now I'm going to show you what happens to brats like you.
He spoke, pulling the other's jaw as he looked at the tears streaming down her face. When he finally stopped, the jaw was already dislocated and the girl couldn't even close her mouth properly.
He picked up the knife again and thrust it with all his strength into Susie's chest, then immediately turned the object and brutally ripped it out of her body, proceeding to give more and more hits all over the girl's chest and stomach.
The man, after long minutes, stood up and let out a grunt of tiredness, dropping the knife on the floor and seeing Susie's body. The way the child's blue eyes were directed at the man gave the impression that she could see all his sins. Because of this, a shiver ran through the elder's entire body.– This was necessary... This was necessary – he said, trying to convince himself that he hadn't done anything wrong, as he wiped away the sweat and tears that had mixed on his face.
Hours passed. The girl opened her eyes, still with the image of the killer rabbit in her mind. She would normally feel goosebumps when remembering a traumatic scene like that, but she soon realized that that did not happen.
Susie blinked a few times, trying to put her mind in order and rationalize everything. Then she realized that she no longer felt the pain on her face nor was she in the same room as before.– What happened?
She looked at her hands, now large and yellow. The girl also noticed that she was taller, so she looked around and saw that she was on the main stage of the pizzeria. Susie gave a scream that came out, in a way, muffled.
– No, no... it can't be! I should be with Wilder! Why am I here?!
Susie soon realized where she was. In the metallic body of Chica, one of the attractions of the pizzeria. Loneliness was inevitable, since there were no others like her. Not that Susie knew, at least. She sat down on the wooden stage and hugged her knees, since she didn't have her stuffed animals, her dog, her father, nor her friends to hug anymore.
– I lost everything I loved... Why?! Why me?! – her tone of voice made her desperation and anguish clear. Susie closed her eyes, waiting until she started crying, but she couldn't. – What will become of me now?
