Trolls One- shots!!!

How Syndy and Oak met

1975:

13 year old Oak was in the park with his friends skateboarding away. They were having a great time, but it was getting dark and with the bergans, you couldn't be too careful. The purple troll went on his way home, skateboarding down the path. "LOOK OUT!" A female troll on rollerblades crashed into him. (They had padding on so they were ok.) "OMG! I'm so sorry are you ok?" The girl said, getting up. Oak couldn't take his eyes off of the girl. She was like no other troll he had ever seen. She had light blue skin, reddish pink/ purple/royal blue hair, magenta eyes with around them where the white of her eyes was supposed to be was red, and her nose was purple, her ears were pointy and a few of her teeth were....sharp?Oak had never seen anyone like her, at first it freaked him out but it was kinda cute, AND SHE LIKED ROLLERBLADES!? That was a first. "Umm, yeah, yeah, I'm fine.😳" He answered. "Phew 😮‍💨, thank goodness! I'm Syndy!" "I-I'm Oak 🥴" He answered kind lovestruck. "So do you live over here or?" Syndy asked. "What do you mean live over here? This is the troll tree, the only place trolls live 🤨" He said. "Ppft, no it isn't 🫢I've said to much!" Oak didn't hear that last bit. "Do you have a place to live here?" He asked. "No, I was just blading out of the forest, and I got chased by this creature and, and I ended up here 🙁" Syndy responded. "Well I bet my parents would love for you to stay! With me 👉👈😓" Oak asked. "Sure! I'd love that!😊" Syndy said gratefully. They both rolled down the path next to each other. They asked questions about each other until they reached a white and blue pod in the tree. Oak hopped of his skateboard and went to the stairs that lead to the pod and Syndy did the same thing. "What if you're parents don't like me😞?" She asked once she got her rollerblades off. "Don't say that" Oak said. "They'll like you, just like I....." Oak said Oh,No what am I saying😳? He thought. OMG! 😳 Does he like me? I think I like him back! Syndy thought. "You, know what let's just go in!" He said as he opened the door. They walked into the pod. "Mom, Dad I'm home, and I brought a ummm, 🤔 friend with me. Do we have enough dinner for 4?" Oak said "I've never had a sibling." Syndy brought up randomly. "I'm thinking that if I have kids, I'd have a lot so that way they wouldn't be alone" She said. They are about to start a conversation when a middle aged purple troll with cyan hair walked in. "Oh, you have made a friend!" She said. "Yup" Oak said. "Mom, meet Syndy, Syndy this is my Mom" "Hi!🙂" Syndy said. "Hello, Syndy! You can call me Rosiepuff!" Rosiepuff said as she shook Syndy's hand. A green skinned troll with yellow hair came in. "Hey, dad" Oak said. "Oh, you have made a friend, a friend who is a girl 😶" The troll said. "Anyway I'm Ginkgo" He said as he reach out his hand to Syndy. "I'm Syndy" she told him. "Syndy... OH!" A moment of realization came to Ginkgo. "I know your Dad, don't you guys live in the hybrid village?" He said. 🫢 he put his hand over his mouth, he said to much. Rosiepuff slapped him. 😡 "I've said to much!" He whispered. "Wait, wait, wait the hybrid village? You're a hybrid?" Oak asked. "I, I am. I'm half rock troll😔" Syndy said, clearly she was ashamed to admit it. "What's a rock troll 🤨" Oak said. Syndy told them the entire story about the troll tribes and the strings. "I never knew that was the way things went down, I knew that you're dad was a rock troll, but I had no clue that Pop trolls did that." Ginkgo said. "It's fine, my Dad didn't know he was a rock troll until he was in high school thats probably when he told you - she gestured to Ginkgo- his best friend, that he was a rock troll, he found out that there were a bunch of hybrids in the troll tree and lead them into the forest creating a village for hybrids and that's where I grew up, it was supposed to be a secret, but it's out now." Syndy said. "Well, hybrid or not" Oak said. "I think you're special" "thanks, Only my parents have ever said that." She responded. "You can stay with us, until it's safe for you to go back home" Rosiepuff said. "Thanks again, and I will probably stay here a while, my Dad is .... gone 🥺" she said. "Oh, sweetheart" Rosiepuff said. "What happened?" She asked. "I don't wanna talk about it 😢" Syndy replied. "Alright well it's getting late, and you guys should probably get some rest. Honey, show Syndy where everything is and then lights out." Rosiepuff said. "Ok" Oak responded.

A few minutes later

"Goodnight Oak, and thanks again" Syndy said as she went into the guest bedroom where she was sleeping. "Goodnight, and don't mention it." Oak said. "Night" Syndy said. With that she closed the door. They went to bed wondering if there short friendship, overtime could turn into something more.
