"Is this enough stuff-"

"Perfect, now get out." Brad pushes Max out of his room before closing the door and diving into the clothes pile Max had brought him.

Brad sets up his nest in the corner of his room with an odd enthusiasm. He already had plenty of clothes from Max he had been stealing secretly, mainly shirts Max would put on him after washing him up. Brad starts by layering shirts and pants down but no matter how he places them they don't look right! Too long here, too short there, he moves clothes all across his floor but no space feels like the perfect one. He ends up giving up for the night, throwing himself down with a growl and grumble. Brad perks up when his phone buzzes, heart racing when he sees Max's profile picture. Handsome, he's such a cutie- No! Brad is not going to gush over him!

"What is it?" His tag is wagging so hard his waist is wiggling.

"Just wanted to make sure you were okay, I uh, I know this is a lot sometimes." Max hasn't left the Frat house, he was currently downstairs and standing in the kitchen while the Gammas cheered at a Football game on TV. "Want me to bring you some food or something later?"

"No, you can't come in my room!" Brad starts to choke up, "It looks like shit and..."

"Are you cry-"

"No! Leave me alone!" And with that he hangs up to sulk in his bed.

He's an omega, it's supposed to be natural, so why is it so hard to do something as simple as make a nest?! He curls up in his blanket, pulling it over his head but the shade only makes his anxiety worse. He jumps from a knock on his door, peeking out from under his blanket to see Max looking inside.

"I said you couldn't come in!" Brad throws his pillow at him, wiping a tear that dared to trickle down his cheek. "Get out!"

"I will, I will, I just wanted to bring you some candy." Max catches the pillow with one hand, leaning against Brad's door and glancing at the floor. "Damn, your room was so clean a moment ago, were you looking for an outfit or something?"

Brad bursts into tears.

He calms down when Max wraps his arms around him, a quiet purr leaking from his lips as Max kisses them. If he weren't so frustrated he'd be embarrassed. Max's hands massage Brad's back, his voice a soft hum as he whispers sweet praises that make Brad's ears flush. His eyebrows furrow as Max cups his face, eyes darting away as he pouts. His nest was so bad Max didn't even know what it was! The realization makes him weep all over again, hands clutching Max's shirt as the Alpha soothes him again.

"Ready to talk about it?" Max asks in a hushed voice, Brad in his lap as he sits reclined against his headboard. "Might make you feel better."

"No, it's humiliating." Brad crosses his arms when Max raises a brow at him, "It's not a big deal! Drop it!"

"Brad-" Max attacks him with a round of kisses, caressing his cheeks as they flush. "-Be a good boy and tell me what's wrong."

"No way!" Brad's lips purse as Max's kisses linger longer and longer, "Max-"

"Hm?" Max smiles against his mouth, "Do you still like being called that?"

"Don't be ridiculous- mhm~" Melting, his arms wrap around Max's neck as they makeout.

Soft, sweet, sultry, Max's hands are firm but gentle on Brad's hips as he holds him. Usually he feels hot all over when they kiss but today he's just warm, warm like cocoa on a snowy day, the kind that makes you sleepy after a few sips. He lays his head on Max's shoulder, looking up at him with those pretty hazy blues that make his heart hammer against his ribs. Max plays with his wavy bangs, kissing the crown of his head. Good, his pheromones have died down, the tears on Brad's cheeks drying and leaving little trails down his face. Max's thumb wipes his face until the trails disappear, smiling when Brad grumbles in protest.
