After class, Akechi talked with me at my desk. I didn't just appreciate Akechi because he kept away the normal nuisances like some sort of human repellent, but also because he was so.. honest and never scared to speak up. This is weird.. I don't know what I'm feeling and it's so weird but also comforting? I would ask someone like Kuboyasu, or anyone.. normal-ish, but that's hard to find in this school. The second most normal person would probably be Teruhashi, but she's a delusional mess.. guess I'll have to just figure it out myself. Was I supposed to be listening to Akechi? What was he talking about? I didn't zone out for that long did I? "Saiki, are you okay?" Akechi asked, I nodded as a response, "you seemed zoned out, what were you thinking about?" That's like literally the worst question he could've asked me. What am I supposed to say to that? I can't tell him I'm having trouble understanding these feelings in my mind or he'll start asking me a bunch of questions that I don't want to answer!

And I  can't say I was thinking about how much I appreciated him or that'll just make things awkward.. 'it's nothing.' Now he's gonna be worried about me! "Are you sure? You can tell me anything Saiki." I probably can't.. 'don't worry about me, I'll be fine.' He sighs and muttered something under his breath, "alright then!" That's probably one of the best things that could've happened. I then heard giggling and footsteps behind me. "Oh, hello Teruhashi." My day was going semi-great.. "yeah whatever, uhm, hi Saiki! I was wondering if.. if you wanted to hangout after school..?" She tucked her hair behind her ear and smiled with blush the color of roses on her cheeks. I looked at Akechi then back at Teruhashi, I obviously didn't want to hangout with her.. "sorry Teruhashi, but I was gonna hangout with Saiki today!" I had no plans with him today.

Teruhashi's smile faded and was replaced with a very clearly fake one. "Oh..! That's.. fine, completely fine. Well, have fun Saiki, although I know you would've had more fun with me." She chuckled softly and crumpled the paper in her hands which I assume was her phone number. I'd had to pay Akechi back in some way after school.. not like that freaks. I'm simply just gonna give him a slice of his favorite cake, if I have enough to buy it. "I'm hoping you didn't want to actually go with her?" I shake my head no, 'thanks Akechi.' I smiled softly.. wait what?

Time skippp!!! {After school}

You know how I said I'd have to pay back Akechi? Yeah, I'm doing just that by buying him a slice of his favorite cake. I saw Kaidou and Kuboyasu shopping together, are they dating or not? I rolled my eyes and paid for the cake. Then I walked out of the store and headed to Akechi's house. I've been to his place maybe 2 or 3 times, I knocked on the door and waited for it to open. Once Akechi opened the door, a smile was brought to his face. I handed him the box with the cake inside and he took it. "That's nice of you Saiki! What for?" He asked, 'you helped me get away from Teruhashi at school, so I'm giving this to you as a thanks." He giggled and stepped aside. "You can come in you want." That is an opportunity I'm not willing to lose.

I stepped inside and Akechi introduced me to his mom first before leading me to his room. It was always clean in his room when I came over. He put the cake on his desk and paused for a second. "I'll be right back, I need a fork." I nodded and he walked out of the room. I watched as he left and I sighed. He came back a few seconds later and opened the box with the cake. I didn't even know what his favorite cake was, I just guessed and chose strawberry shortcake, guess I chose right. Looking at him now with this lighting, he just looks even better. Am I weird for thinking this? I'm not like stalking him or anything, just.. admiring him? Is that weird?? "Saiki." Now is not the time to think! 'Yeah?' I looked at him as he leaned against his desk.

"Do you think Teruhashi likes you?" Was it not obvious enough? 'Yeah, it's not like I like her back.' He nodded with a smile, 'You're quieter than normal, something bothering you?' He shrugged and threw away the empty cake box in the trash. "Well, normally when I go to you're house I have things to talk about, but since you came to me.. I don't know what to talk about." That's weird for Akechi, I guess I'll start the conversation.. it'll be better than sitting in silence, but what do I talk about?  "Saiki, did you plan on doing anything else today?" Fortunately not, 'I don't think so.' He smiled, "so you're free to go to the cafe with me?" Suddenly my day is 10 times better!

Chat is the longest chapter I've wrote so far!?!? That's 2 chapters for today, hopefully the motivation continues on until the end!! (900 words)
