Kaylee was home alone when there was a knock on her door, she opened the door but there was no one on her doorstep, just a small package addressed to her. Kaylee picked up the package and took it into the kitchen, she grabbed a small kitchen knife and ran it along the top of the package to open it. She reached inside the box to find a vintage blue polaroid camera, there was also a Polaroid photograph of a girl with blonde hair, she had a strange look on her face, almost as if she was scared of something, she wore a blue sweater with a picture of a deer in it, Kaylee flipped the picture over and on the back of it was one word, Olivia, that must be the girls name, kaylee had never seen the girl before. The camera must be a birthday gift from Uncle Fred Kaylee thought, they shared a love of photography so it would make sense for him to give her this but she didn't know why he would send her a picture with it, maybe it was a joke, uncle Fred did have a strange sense of humor. She checked the return label and found no return address, maybe her uncle dropped it off at the house himself but had to leave for another errand. Kaylee took her camera on a walk to take pictures of the fall leaves, the woods were cold and windy but Kaylee didn't mind, she loved the october air, it was one of her favorite parts of the fall season. The leaves crunched as Kaylee walked over them with her hiking boots and Kaylee took as many pictures as she could as she made her way through the trees, the sun was just beginning to set and Kaylee used the background lighting to her advantage, the pictures turned out wonderful and she couldn't wait to put them on her wall when she got home. Before Kaylee went to bed that night she heard a sound outside her window, it sounded like a camera flash, was someone taking photos of her? She walked slowly to the window and pulled the curtains open quickly hoping to catch some pervert in the act of taking her picture. Nothing was there, the window wasn't even open. "It must be my imagination" Kaylee thought as she pulled her curtains closed again and crawled into her warm bed. In the morning her pictures from the day before were left on her desk. "I thought I already put those on my wall" Kaylee said to herself as she picked them up. Kaylee screamed when she saw a new photo had been added to the pile, a picture of her asleep in her bed, it looked like it had been taken from her closet. She slowly crept to the closet door which was slightly ajar, she put her hand on the door knob and threw the door open, the only thing in there was sweaters and old toys she didn't play with anymore. Her mom pulled open her door to check on her "are you okay? I heard something" Kaylee tried to find the picture to show her mom but it wasn't there anymore, only the pictures she had taken yesterday. "Where did it go?" She asked herself. "Where did what go?" Her mom asked as she came closer to her. "Nothing mom,I just lost a picture" "well you can look for it later, you gotta get ready!" Kaylee dressed for school and her mom dropped her off, before she went inside her mom called out to her. "You have to walk home today,I'm going to visit a friend and I won't be back till late tonight." Kaylee nodded as she opened the door and walked into her school.
On the walk home Kaylee heard the sound of a camera again, someone was definitely following her. She started to walk faster as the camera clicks kept sounding off, Kaylee ran all the way home and locked her door as she made it into her house. She watched the window hoping that no one had followed her, no one came to the house, maybe she had lost them. Kaylee called her friend Alice to ask her to come over as she didn't want to be alone, they spent the rest of the day together and Kaylee didn't hear a single flash sound. Alice went home when Kaylee's mom came back, Kaylee hoped that the stalker had given up on her but just in case they hadn't she triple checked every lock including the one on her window, when she was sure she was safe she crawled into bed and drifted to sleep. Kaylee woke to the sound of the camera flash and sat up in bed, she turned on the light to see Olivia standing in front of her bed, she was holding Kaylee's camera and she didn't look scared anymore, she had a big wide grin on her face as she snapped one last photo of Kaylee.Sandra found a mysterious package on her doorstep, inside was a vintage blue polaroid camera, she was about to throw the box away when she noticed something else inside. Sandra picked up the photograph and studied it, there was a girl in the photograph that she had never seen before, she had a Wednesday Addams pyjama shirt on and she had short pink hair, she looked like she was afraid of something, like she had seen something she shouldn't have. Sandra turned the picture over and on the back, written in black ink, was the name kaylee
