Doomed plans.

The group had taken base in The Plantars house basement, attempting to configure plans as to what their next actions will be.

"Right so here's what we have so far, The core obviously isn't going to take this invasion slowly, which means we probably have about 2-3 months to defeat them. Whilst Sasha and Marcy are trying to find a way to create a portal here, We'll do the same. For the next 2 weeks we'll travel back through Amphibia and visit the 3 temples. See if they have an clues or hints on how to create a portal without the stones. Once- If Sasha and Marcy get here we'll plan a surprise full-scale invasion on The core, creating a whole Amphibian army against them. Hopefully, that will distract them long enough so that Sasha, Marcy sprig and whoever else, can find Anne and remove The core from her and Marcy if there is still remains in her mind completely. Finally fully destroying them for good!" Sprig explained, a proud smile on his face about his plan.

"That's a good plan, but do you have a plan B? What about if Sasha and Marcy don't get here? What if it doesn't take 2-3 months for The core to take action and it's much smaller?" Yunan asked, putting sprig on spot.

"How are we meant to kill The core without Anne, even her doing it she almost died, she did die!" Olivia added on.

"I- well you see, Ugh, I don't know! This is a good enough plan for now if we have to change it up then we will!" He stressed, covering his face with his hands.

"Sprig, dontcha thing this is a bit much for ya, your still so young. A just don't think your ready for this much commitment," Hop Pop put a hand on his shoulder, worriedly looking at him.

"Hop pop, I'm not 10 anymore! I'm 20 years old! I'm sure if Anne could do this at 13, i sure can." He swatted his pops hand off of him, and stormed out of the basement, Hop pop trying to follow him.

"Leave him, Hop pop. You know as much as us how much Anne meant to him," Polly stopped him, and the room fell silent. All of this sudden pressure had an effect on all of them, they were all so worried about their home and their heroic warrior.

"The cores weakness is to be destroyed, be a failure and irrelevant. If we can take an upper hand on them using our army, we should see those disadvantages and use them as our own power, weakening the connection in Anne's brain. Clearly somewhere in the universe, there is another physical connection like the helmet, that will already be attached to Anne by now. If we weaken The core enough and destroy the helmet or new device, the connection will be severed. Putting on a big enough attack, will bring the final most powerful piece of their army as they won't see us as vulnerable and Anne is much more older, wiser and mature meaning the 3 calamity stones will be much more powerful, if she can use them again and defeat the final core. We will be victorious." Andrias announced.

"So basically what your telling us is Anne will have to sacrifice herself again? History will repeat itself? We can't just send her off like we did last time!" Olivia argued, the rest of the group agreeing with her.

"Last time was her own choice plus it's the only way, Anne is the only being strong enough who can defeat them, even if she's a clone of original self. Without her the universe is doomed and Amphibia will be no more, for now all we can do is wait for her friends and see what we can find at the temples."

The room fell silent once again, one by one they all left back to their homes, dreading the months ahead of them.

Sprigs room.

Sprig sat on his bed, his knees to his chest. Going through all of the photos of his and Anne's adventures for the millionth time.

"Remember the time, you saved the whole of Wartwood from being eaten by a giant weasel, Ha... That was funny," He spoke to himself, not expecting any reply. "Or the time you saved us from a killer robot in a market!"

Ever since Anne left, Sprig always felt incomplete. She was and still is his bestest friend forever, she changed his life.

"Spranne against the world..."

There was a knock at the door, "Could a come in Sprig? We should probably talk," Hop Pops voice heard on the other side.

"Come in,"

Hop Pop entered and sat down next to his grandson. "A know a can be hard and ya sometimes, but ya know it's just because A love ya, A don't wanna lose ya like a did with yar parents. We're all that's left of the Plantar family, and a just wanna make sure yar safe, yar not a little boy anymore so i'm telling ya, A'll support ya all the way with this, just aslong as ya promise me something,"

Sprig looked up towards him, "Anything Hop Pop,"

"Promise me, if ya find yarself in a situation that could endanger yar life, yarll get out of there as soon as possible, a don't know whatd id do without ya boy," He asked, giving sprig a light punch on the shoulder.

"I promise, I just want to save Anne and see her again," Sprig began to cry, "She's my best friend Hop Pop, i don't know what i'd do if i lost her."

Hop pop wrapped his arms around him and also began to tear up a little.

"Ya get out their kid, and show the universe who ya are! A Plantar!"
