10. School (Continued)

Mason's POV

I yawned and stretched. Sadly, there was no warmth next to me. It is Monday, isn't it? Henry must have school. I don't have school yet. Dad is going to enroll me soon, though. Dad.

I sighed and got dressed. Black skinny jeans, Avenged Sevenfold shirt, and A Legend Of Zelda hoodie.

"Hey. You're up" Benny smiled at me.

I nodded and kindly smiled back.

"Your dad went into town for a few minutes. He said he needed to get something from the store" He said.

"Uh... Thanks" I looked down.

"Hey, Mason. Do you mind if I ask a question?" He asked.

"G-Go ahead"

"Are you gay? Also if you don't mind, Do you like Henry?" He smiled.

"Uh... Yes. To both questions"

Benny's smile grew. "I knew it. You two look good together. No matter what your dad says, stay with Henry"

I smiled. "I will"

Henry's POV

I glared at Cameron from across the room. He landed us a visit to detention. As always, Jack and Jerry are here, too.

Cameron coughed.

I looked up from my phone and over to him.

He makes a weird face.

I can't help but to roll my eyes and smile, looking at my phone. I held it so it was under the desk but out of sight.

Cameron coughed again.

"Mr. Coleman. Do you need a drink?" Mr. Zig (Detention Teacher Person) asked, obviously annoyed.

"Yes please, Sir" Cameron smiled.

"Make it quick"

Cameron smirked at me and left the room.

He's not coming back. I mentally sigh. Mason is probably really bored and I'm stuck in detention.

And I was right. Because 20 minutes later, detention ended and He didn't return.

"Mr. Blain" Zig's voice boomed.

"Yes?" I smiled.

"Tell Mr. Coleman if he skips detention again, he will have after school detention every day"

"You already know he's going to skip again Zigs- I mean Mr. Zig" I smiled and ran out.

I could hear Mr. Zig yelling after me but I have better things to do. Like get back to Mason. I hop on my bike and start it up.

Zigs ran out of the building and tried to yell at me but my helmet was already on and I was starting to move. That is until Mr. Zig stepped in my way.

"Move" I say, opening the mask piece.

"You do not call me 'Zigs'. I have a name and use it!" He yelled.

"Yeah. Okay. Now move. I need to get somewhere" I sighed.

He tried to bitch at me more but I really didn't care. So, I backed up a little and zoomed around him hearing 'Detention'. Well wouldn't be the first time this happened.

Mason's POV

I smiled and watched the world move up and down. I was currently on The Blain's trampoline. I never remembered having one, but Dad says I used to play on it all the time. My bouncing slowed as memories flashed into my mind. It was all my childhood. Mom and Dad got along and we even had a dog.

I stopped thinking as I heard Henry pull into the driveway. Quickly I slipped on my shoes and ran for the front. Henry was hanging his helmet on the handle as he smiled at me.

"Hey. How was your boring day?" 

"Boring" I smiled.

Henry laughed. "Sorry I'm so late. A sub gave me detention"

"It's ok" I replied.

"I see you have my jacket on. It is pretty cold today, isn't it?" He smiled, again.

"Uh. It was okay" I shrugged.

Henry smiled. "Just okay?" I nod "Let me change that then"

I felt blush creep onto my face. Henry smiled more.

"Can I ask you something?" He frowned.

"S-Sure" What does he want to ask me?

"Are you-"

"Mason. C'mon. We're leaving" My dad interrupted, making both Henry and I jump.

"Just a sec, dad" I sigh.

Dad got back in his truck and waited.

"You were saying?" I ask.

"Never mind. I-I'll just... ask another day" He struggled to say.

I smiled. "Okay. Text me"

Henry nodded and smiled back. "See ya"

I got in my dad's truck and he drove off.

It was very silent until dad spoke up.

"I don't want to talking to Henry anymore" He growled.

"Then why do you always have me spend the night over there!?" I shot back.

"Because Benny is my only friend here but you're ruining that by being in love with his son!" Dad yelled.

I stayed silent.

"What? Now you aren't going to-"

"I want Mom! I'm moving back in with her!"

I did a lot of POV switching in this one. It helped with making it longer. I hope I write another chapter tomorrow. I might not though. But let me know if you see any mistakes.
