In shadows deep, I walk alone,
The chill of night, a whispered tone.
Footsteps echo, heartbeats race,
A fleeting glimpse of a fading face.
Breath quickens, a shiver runs,
The weight of silence, a thousand guns.
I turn, and in the darkness, find
A figure lurking, intent and blind.
Time slows, each heartbeat rings,
A dance of fate with fatal strings.
A flash of steel, a glint of light,
A moment frozen, then endless night.
Pain blooms sharp, a stolen breath,
The world spins down, a brush with death.
I reach for solace, a desperate plea,
But all that's left is the fading me.
Memories flicker, like stars in flight,
A life once vibrant, now lost to night.
In this stillness, I drift away,
A whisper of shadows where I used to stay.
