Toto's POV:
I looked up and saw the look on Ron's face. It was rare when I didn't see his usual playful grin. I looked over at Spitz who noticed it too.
Me and Spitz couldn't really understand what time it was or how many days had passed, but we kept each other sane in that room. We could only tell that a long time had passed because I made a majority of a recovery from my incident -well enough to walk at least.
"YOU ARE SURROUNDED! PUT YOUR HANDS UP!" One of the officers said. Suddenly the room broke out in gunfire from both sides. One of the shielded officers grabbed the three of us and led us out of the warehouse.
I was blinded by the sunlight, but as soon as my eyes adjusted I saw Kawasemi-kun by a truck yelling at us to hurry. The officer who had led us out told us to leave quickly while to criminals get detained. I wanted to join him as an officer myself, but I was in no condition too.
Ron dragged me into the truck with Kawasemi-kun and Spitz. Once inside, I was met with a large hug from Ron.
"Ron?" I then paused as I heard the silent sobs.
"I'm glad you're okay Toto......So very glad...."
I brought my palms to his back, gently rubbing. I blushed softly and smiled. I couldn't understand why, but it made me happy to know the man I loved was worried about my safety.
I was happy to be in his arms again.
