I woke up with a pounding in my head, my thoughts muddled as I rubbed my temples, trying to ease the ache. Slowly sitting up, I took in my surroundings— a dimly lit room, unfamiliar yet strangely comforting. The scent of teakwood and cinnamon lingered in the air, warm and inviting, wrapping around me like a soft embrace.

As my eyes adjusted, I noticed something that made my breath catch: I wasn't alone. Beside me lay a man, his chest rising and falling in a peaceful rhythm. He was shirtless, his skin kissed by the low light, wearing nothing but red and black plaid pants. His face was serene, almost too calm for the chaos I felt inside.
