Chapter 4

It had been a month since the incident occurred.
Anne Peter's was on the mend but her feelings toward her husband had also changed, especially when he took a hold of her,  she pushed him away from her and told him to never touch her  again, and she turned and walked  away from him, she felt like he would come after her but she would be ready for him.

She was right, she had been in bed in less than half an hour and she heard his steps coming closer she wished he would just disappear.
He looked at her she could feel his eyes  boring into her as she lay and pretended to be sound asleep.
After a few minutes that seemed like an hour to Anne,  he turned around and walked out of the house.

Janine was sitting in the kitchen with her mother,  "Make sure you eat all of that , it will help you to get through the day,  how is your school  work going,  have you caught up with your work from when you were home with me."
"You don't worry about it I have just a couple more things to do and I will be finished with it all thank heaven's and  I will hand in what I have finished and get the last two assignments done as soon as I can  OK."
That's great she heard her mother answer, she finished up her breakfast and putting her dishes in the sink she asked her mother, " Are you going to be alright today,"she asked.
I will be fine don't worry about me"
OK mum I will see you after school,  she bent and gave her mother a kiss on the cheek,  then she turned and walked out on her way to school.
