A/N: guess hiw many times thus chapter was delayed because I was sick...two weeks!

Stephenie's POV

"Damian, I don't think your evidence adds up" Tim argued, they've been doing that all weekend, Damian was sure the civilian who woke Tim up was a meta of some kind.

"The only reason you aren't is there isn't enough proof, if father would let me go on patrol I would be able to get the proof" Damian told them.

"Your only proof do far is 'he had a piece of glass in his foot, and then it was gone, with no scar' It's not a lot" Steph told the youngest. "You have a better chance to prove the moon landing was fake"

"TT" was Damian's wonderful replie.

Stephanie groaned, she was tired, and needed coffee. She knew a good place not far from the manor, and it was near her apartment.

"I'm going for a coffee break, don't call or text me, unless its an emergency" She said as she grabbed her phone from the table and stood
up.

Tim opened his mouth to protest, but she put her finger to shush him up. She then walked out of the dining room.

She stepped into Belles and stood in the line, which was unusually short for a Saturday afternoon. The place smelt of coffee and honey, and Stephanie could get behind that.

She nodded to the berista behind the counter and stood behind an older woman in line.

After about a minute, she was at the front of the line

"Hello, how can I help you?" The girl behind the counter asked, under her apron she was wearing a simple hoodie and jeans, and her hair was pulled back into a bun.

"Just a middium mocha with whip" Stephanie told her, she nodded and punched it into the register.

"7.72 cents please" the girl said. She turned the the screen around and started to make stephs drink.

She payed and stood back to wait. Her eyes started to wonder around the café, and landed on a table in the corner.

There was a familiar mop of blonde hair, she knew she recognized it. It was the dude from the other night, Damian's so called 'Meta'. He was sitting with a black haired person talking.

Steph heard her name and her order number called out, she took it, and made the split second decision to sit by them.

She sent a quick text to Tim, telling g him to get down here faster then Bart on a mission.

She set her phone down and did her best not to act like she was listening.

"So Your going g to ask Reyna walk you down the Isle? Why not your father?" The Blonde asked, steph couldn't see him, but guessed they were together.

"She's a better parent then my dad" the other dude said, he sounded fine bored, and somewhat tired.

"Well obviously, and is Estelle the flower girl? Or are we letting Hazel do that?" Blondie asked again, so they were definitely together, and probably getting married.

"I'll ask Haz, but I'm sure Estelle would be ecstatic"

Stephanie listened a while longer before Tim walked in through the door. She waved him over and they sat across from each other.

"Is that..." Tim asked, his eyes looking past Stephanie slightly. She nodded, and tapped the table with her index finger.

"Yeah, nothing too weird about the project yet, but I've only started on it for about ten minutes. Damian is probably wrong" Steph said, using 'code' so the 'suspects' weren't alerted.

Tim nodded, getting it immediately. "Yeah, his theory wasn't backed up enough"

"Don't text him anything, we can't get his hopes up" Steph said quietly, she took a sip of her drink and leaned back in her chair, listening to the conversation again.

"You want Mr D to be there? He calls me Bill" the Blonde asked, his tone was dramatically offended, very much acting.

"Bill is a nickname for William, and plus, I'm his favorite" goth dude defended.

"Fine Nico, then Clarisse is there" William said,

Stephanie got a few key points from this conversation. One, This guy was old enough to get married. Two, he knew someone with the name Clarisse. Three, he was most likely a theater kid.

She looked over at Tim, and they nodded, there was probably nothing suspicious about them. Until they heard the Nico guy say something.

"So Dad is invited, but if he's upset he isn't walking me down the Isle, he isn't coming. Persphone is invited if dad comes, but if not-" Nico was cut of by William.

"She is still invited because your step mother is a lovely woman" he finished for him.

Persphone? Who names their kid after a Greek goddess?

Her brain then registered to anyone named Athena, or Artemis...she actually knew someone named Artemis!

Tim got up and made a motion, telling her to talk about it later. She nodded, and grabbed her coffee and followed behind him.

Her mind would go back to that moment through out the day, and the next. Was Damian right?

A/N: I posted this so much later then I wanted too, it will kill me. My apologies to QuetzalThePhoMaster for accidentally lying, please enjoy your subtle appearance  an apology.
